I'm happy with my result s from Dra.Cardenas. I have the coke bottle shape I had before my babies destroyed my waistline. I'm conservative by nature so I didn't want anything extreme. I told her I wanted as natural a shape as she could give me and that's EXACTLY what she gave me. My waist, hips, and bust are proportional and glide seemlessly into each other. I didn't want a "shelf" but just a Lil something to fill my jeans and I got it. There is a small problem with the lower part of my butt being disproportionate but that had a lot to do with my genetics. If I'm ever brave enough to try a round 2 it'll be to correct that. Other than that I believe she did a phenomenal job and her staff at the clinic and the recovery house get 2 thumbs up and 10 stars from me lol :)

And I’ve absolutely loved every day of it! Dra. Carmina Cardenas worked wonders on me and I’m SO happy I made the choice to go to her. I tend to heal slower so it took me longer than most to get back to 100% so that did work on my psyche towards the end. Being in bed for 6 weeks healing brought me down to some pretty bad depressed moments, I’ve seen it happen to a lot of people. By the time I was good to go I was in pretty bad shape and it took me a good 2 months to get out of that funk. That had more to do with my own mental issues then the results of my surgery. After I was able to shake it off I lived my best life! I stopped hiding in the house and was happy to take the kids school. I found that I didn’t have to try so hard to look good anymore becauseI DID! Everything I put on draped on my body in exactly the way it was supposed to. I’m SO glad I made the trip to Dra. Cardenas’s office 4 yers ago. I will reiterate my warning to stay for the entire 2 weeks that she recommends. Recovery is serious and if you can stay there then you should. If you have any health issues, double check with your own doctor and get his/her honest opinion about you going. If it’s not right for you then walk away. It’s not worth losing your life and I’m sure if Cardenas is asked she would say the same.
In closing I trust her and I would go back to her again, as a matter of fact, I’m hoping to go back for some Light lipo because She’s the best and gave me the most natural look and No one can tell I had any work done.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your review. I’m having a similar issue with my belly button that you had years ago? How did it eventually heal? What methods did you use to help it along? How long did it take? Did you eventually require a revision or did it turn out ok?

I forgot to mention that Dra. Cardenas and her staff have been great at keeping up with my recovery. I've sent pictures and updates every day for the first week I was home then every other day after that and the doctor has always gotten back to me within a few hours with how she feels my incisions look and what my next steps should be. I'm STILL very happy with the care and service they provide but choosing a PS that is out of state is a big deal. If things had been different I would have stayed an entire month. Seriously. 1 month is the absolute best choice for those going out of state for these procedures. At the very least I would recommend staying 3 weeks. There's so much that can happen. I wish I had stayed for that long. If unable to do so i would reccomend either finding a PS in your area and asking if he\she would be willing to do the post op care if anything should come up or pre arranging follow ups with your family doctor . You never know what will happen but it's always best to be prepared. You don't want to come home and need medical care and are unable to find any. Anyway HTH Happy healing everyone!
