ETT, Lipo & FG Dr. Cardenas - Tijuana, Mexico

Ok Ladies Dr. Cardenas does it again!! I had an extended tummy tuck with lipo and fat graft on March 7th and I stayed at the recovery house (Beauty Care) for 9 days.

I had a great experience with Dr. Cardenas and the entire staff at Beauty Care Recovery house. For starters Dr. Cardenas is on point with everything ladies. She is attentive, caring, skilled and the most important of them all is she's smart! She knows what she's doing ladies and she will be the only plastic surgeon that touches my body. She puts the safety of the patients first and she came to see me at the recovery house 7 days out of the 9 I stayed there. One night she came at almost 10 o'clock after working. She looked exhausted but she put me first and wanted to make sure I was ok. You don't get that kind of attention and care in the states. And just a side note there was a girl in the recovery house who some doctor on 5th avenue, nyc jacked up her boobs. (They looked cocked eyed) and Dr. Cardenas fixed them perfectly of course.

When I arrived at the recovery house the day before surgery I was greeted by the nurse (Carmelita) and the recovery house manager (Carmen) I was showed to my room and they had a sandwich with fruit waiting for me. BTW you read the post about how the food is on point and they ain't never lied. The chefs be in there throwin down yall. All fresh ingredients of course. Lots of fruits and proteins. They do serve you carbs but in proportions and remember your body needs all of the food groups to heal properly. They serves 3 meals plus 2 snacks a day. I was never hungry.

I changed into my pajamas and Carmelita told me Dr. Cardenas wanted me to have iron because my iron 1 month ago was 11.6. I was taking iron since then and they told me they would check it in the morning before surgery to see if it went up. Dr. Cardenas came and told me that if my iron levels are low she wouldn't be able to be as aggressive with the lipo as she would like. So I was nervous but on the day of surgery my iron was 12.7 and I was good. I went upstairs and they wheeled me to the operating room and the next thing I know I was in the bed at the clinic.

Day of surgery wasn't too bad you know the meds are still running in you. But the 2nd day is bad and the 3rd day was the worse.com. It does get greater later. I'm 10 days post op now still not walking straight up yet and my lower back is killing me. Besides the pain from the lipo on my waist my worst pain is the pain on my lower back. It hurts me so bad :-(.... But otherwise I'm good! Oh I forgot I had a headache off and on for like a week straight. I think it was from my body getting use to the compression garment. I did have a headache today but it went away.
As I remember more details ladies I will continue to post. Also just a tip please do your research on your physician thoroughly. A girl at the house went to Dr. Pantoja and it was some issues with her. But I'm out for now.
