At 3 months post op now

Did underarm incision under muscles via local anaesthesia

Left nipple is completely senseless, doesn't matter how hard i squeeze or pinch, I feel nothing, however I can still feel the areola

During the surgery I felt excruciating pain especially when I felt something that was cut and the pain went right to my left nipple

At first I wasn't concerned because I knew it is common to have senseless nipple after the surgery and it will gradually come back to normal, but it's been 3 months now, the left nipple still can't feel anything, it's as if it's someone else's even when I squeeze it really hard

I do have a feeling I will have the sensation come back (or maybe I have to think that way!), but I'd like to hear everyone's opinion.

Was the nerve cut dead during the surgery? Or was it just damaged and it'll come back to normal? If so why I am still not feeling anything after 3 months?

Also my scars are cut under arm, but not where the top crease is (that's where it's supposed to be cut after I did some googling), it's cut much lower almost by the side of my breasts. They are still red and dark and quite visible although it's almost flat.

I started to get stressed out and resent my decision, the doctor and of course myself. I am a lingerie model and this is causing me not able to work. Obviously have yet to wear anything sleeveless or hit the beach in swimwear.

What is done is done, I followed word of mouth chose a very reputable surgeon that everyone flew from across Asia to get breast work or SRS work from, and is very famous in the trans community (I'm natural female however). The doctor did tell me it will leave scars, but I've researched and consulted so much pre surgery and most say the under arm scar heals very quickly and nicely to almost invisible blending into the crease, I thought he was just being overly cautious not to let me have high expectations. I also didn't know some doctors can cut where the top crease is, that's where the least stress and pressure is and it's also loose thin skin that will heal the scars very nicely from what I've found out online; while some doctors like mine cut much lower near the side of the breast it won't heal well (also found out only through googling so not sure how true it is). I did see some photos on plastic surgeons' website of one month post op when it's cut through the top crease and it looked much better than mine 3 months post op.

I am thinking about getting a nude colored tattoo to cover the dark red thin line, but also read that might leave it a greyish color when it fades (nude color tattoo fade very fast from what I've read online)

I've been applying all kinds of scar cream gel as well it's still very visible.
