So I have been doing great. I workout at the gym. Mostly working on my butt to get it more rounded and lifted and toning my arms. I have started doing crunches. I would like to get a little definition. My belly button is awesome! I love it!!!!. I am very happy. I do get swollen at night still but not as much as b4. I have been using scar guard. I want to tan sooooo bad but i know I have to wait. I am very happy I did this and would do it all over again. I get so many compliments. People think I lost weight! LOL! This surgery has given me more motivation to work out.

I know! I love the line down the middle! I am trying to get a little more definition in my abs by going to the gym. She is my fav too. You have a nice frame so I am sure you will get good results.

Can you believe in two days you have 2 months since surgery. Docs are saying you should start to see results between 3 to 6 months and you already look and feel incredible. You know , when I made the first comm I didn't ever read your story, I just had that urge to comment. Pocahondas was right you look like Barbie :-] . Now when I read that you have 3 children I was like "what?" I mean you two girls are so lucky.........
It is that tan by any chances from injections or it is a self tanner? It gives you a youngish look. If I had to guess from your after pics I would say you are 21.
Before the tummy tuck I was going tanning. Now that I cant tan I use self tanner from walmart. It is the gradual tan by Jergens. Its the foam one. Is there such a thing as tanning injections? Ive never heard of that. THank you lol I am 27. I wish I was 21 again! It took a while to lose the weight from my babies. I was determined. At first I didnt even realize how much weight I had gained until I seen pictures of myself. I dont trust a mirror. THose things are decieving!!! My daughter says I look like Barbie too. lol I think its so funny.

I forgot to say that I used to be called Barbie not for my beauty but bcuz I was driving a pink Geo Tracker '93 convertible.

The tight feeling will last for a while. It will ease up in time but tight with a tummy tuck is a good thing!
I love following your story and seeing how great you look. It gives me hope. I am so nervous about this surgery. There are days I look in the mirror and feel like I am being really extreme wanting this surgery, that my tummy is not that bad. And others I just want my muscles repaired so my belly stops jutting out. Your belly was really not very bad before, did you ever feel that way? How do you feel about your scar in relation to how your tummy used to look, was it a good trade?
I apologize for getting back to you so late. I havent been on here much because I have been so busy. I always wanted to get rid of my pooch. B4 I would pretend like I didnt notice it but I was always bothered by how my belly hung over my pants. I couldnt wear a belt before b/c the belt would pinch my pooch! I would always suck in when I wore a bikini. I would cover my pooch with my arm if I would have to bend over so no1 could see it. I was very self conscious about it. Now I am less self conscious. I am happy I traded all that skin for a scar because the scar is easier to hide with clothes or even makeup or a tattoo. I am debating wheteher I should get a tattoo or not. Im waiting till I can tan the area to see if that helps. I think it will be fine though. I love how now I can actually see some definition in my abs starting to form. Before that would have never happened.
All of those crazy thoughts and feelings you are having are normal. All part of the process!! I would take the scar again over the muffing top any day! The scar is easily hidden in the bikini line.
