“Vaser Lipo-Abd/Flanks/Neck”

I had vaser lipo of the abdomen,flanks and neck. I wouldn't have traditional lipo done, so when vaser had been out for several years I decided to have that done. I had several consults before deciding on a plastic surgeon.

I was given a pill to relax, then a shot. The procedure ranged from pain free to uncomfortable, and a few time the cannula hit an area that wasn't numb and was painful. I required an additional pill to relax me for the neck lipo. A compression garment was placed on me and I received a script for pain me and antibiotic. I was sore but otherwise fine.

I only took 1 pain pill the next morning. I am having drainage from the sites but that is normal. My follow up appt in in 7 days. I will be posting before and after pics soon, however I am swollen now as expected and want to wait til that is resolved to post pics.

Post Op Day 1: Still sore but drainage has stopped. Neck area looks fantastic. Ab area is still very swollen and firm but bruising is minimal. Follow up appt is in 1 week.

Post Op Day 2: Still sore but tolerable and will start walking today. Compression garment driving me crazy but that seems to be the general complaint of others too. I will update again after my 1st follow up appt. next week. I plan to post before and after photos when the swelling goes down.

It's now been a month since the lipo procedure. There are still numb areas and very slight "sore" spots(esp around hips) but much more comfortable now. There is an obvious difference now, however my doctor states final results will be in 6 months. I am still wearing the dreaded compression girdle, which I will have to unitl end of Sept..per docs order..uuugghh.
