Hello everyone, My surgery date is june 22nd 2011 CAN'T WAIT! Very nervous but excited at the same time. I have 4 children 12/10/8/2 and had 4 c-sections. I have been wanting a tummy tuck so bad but scared to go through with it.

I went on 5 consultations and its very important that you do so every doctor is really differnt. I went on consults that the doctor was like ya i can do that never went into the whole muscle repair the little hernia i have and so on. It's really important that you feel confident in your choice and leave that office with the feeling that you made the rite choice !

I know just how you feel! I have my tt scheduled for June 10th and feel super excited and a little more nervous as it gets closer.

I also have 4 children! 13, 11, 8 and 2! I didn't have c-sections, but I do have a hernia as well and lots of muscle separation. Best of luck on your surgery. Guess we can go through this together!

Hi thanks to you too good luck ! it will be here before you know it. i go for my pre op on the 7th getting very nervous. im sure you went on yours do they just go over all procedure w you and give your meds and stuff?
fireflyone 2 Jun 2011
Yea, they give you your prescriptions, go over all the do's and don'ts for before and after. I could ask the doctor any questions that I might have had and you sign the form saying you are aware of the risks, etc.

Now, I just need to get my own review up! Are you going to add pictures?
Brandi Lutz 2 Jun 2011
Hi Firefly, Yes im going to post pictures soon! are you ? are they sending you home with a cathider?

I plan to get all that done this weekend. We still have students until Tuesday, then I work 2 work days and finish work on the 9th. I figured I wanted to keep very busy up until the time of surgery or I would go nuts with worry/excitement!

So, yes, I plan to do my review and add pics over the weekend. :)

Doing your homework is so important, you're right. I'm so glad you're sharing your story with us, and I hope you'll keep us posted as the date nears! In the meantime, read Kimmers' Tummy Tuck Survival Guide if you get a chance. It's a fantastic read.

I can tell, not by experience because my pre-op is tomorrow and my surgery next Tue, that most ladies in this forum do experience nerves/anxiety before surgery. What's up with PS office phone calls to remind us of surgery? Like if we are going to forget! LOL

Listen, everything will be just fine, just whatever you do don't forget your pain meds...also tape a paper on the wall telling yourself that pain is temporary... that's what I'm planning to do next Tue. BIG BOLD LETTERS, PLEASE :) You're on your way to recover your sexy body.
