7 weeks po today and I hate my bb! It looks worse than prior to surgery! I've never looked like my butt is up front before! How much longer before I can get an accurate picture of the final product? I'm becoming impatient!

As far back as I can remember I have never had a flat stomach. i was a chubby child and by the time I was old enough to take charge of my lifestyle (eating and exercise) the damage had already been done. After having 5 children including a set of twins, let's just say my body had seen it's better days. I've always tried to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle, but no matter what I did my stomach would just not go away. I had ba done 8 years ago but chose to delay my tt because at the time, I was not done having children. My youngest is 4 and at 42 years old I think I can safely say I'm done having children. My husband had a little break in his work schedule so I decided to go ahead and take the plunge while I would have the extra help for recovery. I do have to say, I really was not prepared for what recovery would consist of but overall I feel I have handled it pretty well. Currently at almost 5 weeks po I have a couple "puckers" in my scar line and a little hole that still needs to heal/close. My ps did an incision up to my bb also and I'm not 100% satisfied with how that looks either. I'm trying to understand that it takes time to heal but I can't help but feel like it should be looking better than it does at this point. I AM HOWEVER, EXTREMELY THRILLED to have this tummy overhang gone from my life forever. My husband tried to get me to take before pictures but I refused telling him that was nothing I ever wanted to see again...ever! I feel better about myself and have more confidence than I've ever had in my life! I am having fun wearing clothes that I never would have dreamed about wearing prior to surgery. I don't know how I would feel about having adjustments made if necessary. I will say that I am happy I did this though.

Awesome! looking good!
You are looking really good!! It does take time to see all the final results so be patient. I noticed improvements each month for the entire first year post op.
You look great.. Patience is the hardest part.
