5 children (including 2 sets of twins) did a number on my abdominal muscles and left me with lots of loose skin. Now that the babies are growing up, I'm ready to get my body back.
I did my homework and had consults with multiple surgeons. I then picked "the one" and called to schedule my surgery the next day. I am having this done a few months after a breast lift/augmentation. The surgeon feels that with the amount of damage to repair, it was best to do two separate surgeries.
I'm a bit nervous, but excited to finally be getting closer to my goal of getting my body back. While I wait I'm trying to lose the last few pounds I've been working on by continuing weight watchers and doing fitness boot camp. I hope all the pain, money, and work is worth the end result!

I had my breast lift done yesterday and am having a hard time- pain wise. It makes me nervous about the TT because everyone said after a TT their breastwork seemed like a cakewalk. I thought I had a high pain tolerance, maybe I was wrong :/ I'm worried how I'm possibly going to manage it after my TT. I guess I'm only 1 day post op though, so its a bit early still to decide how "bad" recovery is.

A week has made me feel much better about my Breast lift, and so relieved (a little) of my TT anxiety. The pain was really only "bad" for a day.
The area I know will be hardest, as it has been with the lift, is not being able to lift the children for a long period of time. Our babysitter was a bit flaky, which has made me decide to have plan B more readily lined up for the TT. My Mom will be coming to help and my husband plans to take at least a few days off of work.
