OHMYGOSH!! I can't believe that I have signed...

OHMYGOSH!! I can't believe that I have signed myself up for this! I never really thought I would be able to get a tummy tuck, but I know my day will be here before I know it. Like many of you ladies, my adorable kids did a number on my belly. I have 3 kids, all born via c-section. None of them were super huge, but if you saw me when I was pregnant, you would have thought I was having twins. I actually got asked that question a LOT! And when I would assure people there was only one baby, they would ask, "Are you sure??" Yep, with today's technology I was certain I knew the number of babies in my belly.
Okay, back to the belly! Before I got pregnant with baby #3, I lost 35 pounds. That might not sound like a lot, but on a 5'2" frame it makes a big difference! I had the baby and lost the weight again. Now that I'm at my goal weight and love how I feel, I want my body to reflect my inside. Does that make sense? I really want to look as good as I feel. I am only 34 years old, so I know I will have a long time to enjoy this body! I also know after keeping the weight off from losing it that I should be able to do it after surgery. So, with hubby's permission, I made an appointment with Dr. Ben Kirbo in Tallahassee, FL to get my tummy taken care of!
I guess that's a little about me! I wanted to go ahead and start my reviews now that I have scheduled surgery.

Pictures

I don't know why my pictures didn't post. I know this has happened to others. Do you know why? I'll try again. Wish me luck! :)

Two months!!

I know I'm not supposed to wish my life away, but I am really excited about getting my tummy fixed! I know the next two months will go by quickly, especially since school will be wrapping up for the kids, and this time of year just seems to fly by.
I got my packet recently from the PS about what to expect for recovery, and all of the information I need for the surgery. I am sure I will have more questions when I have my pre-op evaluation, but for now I'm sitting tight, trying not to think about it too much.
I am posting a couple of pictures from this morning. These are my size 6 skinny jeans. I was actually happy when I realized that they were my 6's and not the size 8 that I thought I put on! Hopefully I don't have that much overhang with my 8.
I am still working out every day, trying to get into awesome shape for the surgery. If I lose 5 pounds before the surgery, I will be a happy camper. Otherwise, I guess I'll be getting every more of my money's worth by having the doctor suck that fat out of me!
I told my sister about my review, and she couldn't believe that I would put these pictures up of myself. She was even more surprised when I said I had read that doctor's only seem to take an average of 5 pounds of skin off. She thinks it looks like I have more than 5 pounds that need to go! And no, I'm not offended by that comment. We are honest with each other, and she didn't say it in an ugly way. Although, I also can't say that I don't agree with her. Like I said before, I want to look as good as I feel, and looking at these pictures doesn't make me feel good, so I am SO glad that my family is supportive of me!
Oh, and I know that this is a little bit all over the place, but I mentioned in another comment somewhere that my doctor's office works with Care Credit to pay the balance. If your PS works with this company, I definitely think it's worth it to look into. I took out a line of credit, and I will have 6 months to pay the surgery off interest free! I am pretty sure that some people have up to 12 months to pay off the balance interest free, and the difference between 6-12 months may be how much credit you take...I honestly have no idea how they chose 6 months for me. But, while I have the money to pay the doctor up front if I had to, I figure I might as well take a little bit longer and keep the money in the bank for as long as possible!
