I got a procedure called lipotuck done in Sugarland, TX. I love it so far, so good. Im still swollen, but Id be happy even if I didnt get smaller. Being so flat is wonderful. He said Im very swollen still.

I didnt know that for the first week or so that Id be walking hunched over. Its been interesting. It did make my lower back hurt a lil. I also had anxiety attacks when my garment was off for the first few times after surgery. I already suffer from anxiety but hadnt had a prob with it for a while until I saw my cut. I never realized I was the type to freak out on stuff like that. I am cut to the middle of each butt cheek.. I got a lil bit of a lift from the hip area since I had sagging skin there too. He also gave me aggressive lipo on back hips and flanks.

I love his staff and him! They are great!

It was very painful on day 2,3,4 and I was a little better by day 5. Day 1 I was drugged up so I was super on day 1. I didnt sleep on my sides at all for the first 2 wks and still have trouble doing so. Im not used to it... its weird without all my hip cushion. Days 5-8 were still a little painful but by day 9 I was ready to go go go. I do have to admit being so dependent on ppl was hard for me. My house was a mess and I hated not being able to clean it! Even tho my body was doing a little better I still could not clean as I wanted to but by day 9 you will feel sooo much better.

Im 2wks 3 day out and Im still in my garment and a lil swollen but I can drive and do little things around the house. You will get tired quicker than usual so take breaks and dont expect to do it all at once. Im getting smaller and smaller but I hear it takes month to see the final result. Keep those binders on!! Yay! Im almost there!! pic after 6 weeks out

My rating:

He's gifted, smart, friendly, affordable. I got tummy tuck and lipo to my back hips flanks for 11,500 bc of a discount for having a decent bmi. Please ask for discounts available. I did off top and I got one. I will be going back for my breast lift/aug bc I feel the incision was done perfectly and I was sewn up beautifully. I am healing great and He has kept me on task the whole way. I definitely got my moneys worth.

It can take even more than a month to see final results. Many doctors say to allow two or three months. Thanks for posting your experience here. Looking forward to seeing your photos!

I am having the LipoTuck with Dr. Ahmadi on 8/17. Do you have pics yet you can share? Just curious how his work looks. Are you still happy with the results?

Hi, I also had lipotuck done with Dr. Amahdi in Sugarland. I'm 3wks 2 days post surgery....It has been a little rough I must admit. Swelling has gone down but I find if I stand too much through out the day my stomach will become hard and hurt. I wonder if this is normal???
Houston9021 3 Nov 2011
Hi Living Proof, I had my LipoTuck on 8/17 and I can attest that it hurts for some time. I think the most painful part was the liposuction part. I am still sore to the touch in those areas and you are correct, if you push yourself and try to do too much you will really pay with the swelling later in the day. For me, this lasted a good 6-8 weeks....you will start to think that it will never go away, but it does in time. You have gone through major surgery, so take it easy for 6 wks at least and be sure to wear the binder he gave you, this helps to reduce the swelling.

@jmbFaith I'm having mine done Jan26 with Dr. Ahmadi I have a friend that already went for TT and new breast she loves him I have only heard good things yes 7 hours seems long but a TT and lipo in one I think is better than 2 surgerys and NO DRAINS......
Living Proof 3 Nov 2011
Thank you Houston9021...I called Dr. Ahmadi office today and your were right. I have to slow down. And yes, the liposuction is the most painful. How are you doing?
Houston9021 3 Nov 2011
I am still really sore to the touch & numb this far out and I know that it can take 6 months to a year for all of the soreness, numbness and swelling to subside completely. I knew this going in and will remain patient and allow my body to heal on its own schedule. We just need to stay calm and relax.

Can anyone who had lipotuck by Dr Ahmadi tell me how long did the procedure take, was it done under sedation, and how was his surgical facility
Living Proof 14 Dec 2011
Hi jmbfaith,I went in at 7am and the nurse started prepping me for surgery immediately. Went into the O.R. almost an hour later. My surgery lasted between 7-7.5 hours. I went under full sedation, the nurses/staff, and the surgery facility were great! Are you scheduled for lipotuck already?
jmbfaith 14 Dec 2011
I am not schedule but to schedule the procedure this week for the month of January, The 7-7.5 hours was actual surgery time or surgery and recovery time? .Who administerd your sedation... nurse, nurse anesthetist or doctor? If you can give me any other infomation about procedure, facility, staff. ect. thay may help me feel at ease would certainly appreciate..... Thanks a bunch

jmbfaith: PS: I dont remember anything after they sedated me. It was like blinking your eyes for one mement, the surgery was over & my husband was there to pick me up. Dont be scared Dr. Ahmadi and his staff are very proffesional. You will be so happy! You will love the way you look!

BABS26 30 Dec 2011
@szura Just checking in to see how things are going how is your recovery doing
m428 26 Dec 2011
Dr. Ahmadi is a good surgeon. I unfortunately did wake up during the surgery. It was VERY scary and painful for the few seconds it lasted.
BABS26 30 Dec 2011
@m428 how are things going with your recovery hope all is well
m428 30 Dec 2011
Yes thank you things are going great. I have a low tolerance for pain and the medicine they gave me was not nearly strong enough and when I asked for something stronger they acted like I was a pill head or something. Luckily I was able to get some pain pills on my own.
jmbfaith 27 Dec 2011
What happen that you woke up? How did they explain that?
m428 30 Dec 2011
When I woke up it felt like someone was stabbing me in the back and I felt like someone was cutting my side. They said he was injecting me with a numbing medicine which I know was not true because the numbing medicine is injected on the stomach along the scar in the front. It was when he was creating the drain holes.
Szura 18 Jan 2012
Dr Ahmadi doesnt do drains..ever
