2 week update

WORTH IT$13,000
I was 2 weeks post op yesterday. All is still going well. Dr A seemed a little concerned that my implants aren't settling a little faster. My incision is also a little raw because I haven't been padding well under the zipper part of the compression garment. So they put steristrips on to reinforce everything.

I'm also bloated this week. So funny, when I was bigger I could never tell that I was bloated. But when I lost weight (before surgery) I could tell.

Hopefully things continue to progress - I'm excited to see what that end result is going to be!

Hey!! You look great! Are you wearing an implant strap to help your breasts settle? I wore one for a few weeks and I believe it helped. But it takes time! My first week I didn't swell very much but wow it sure kicked in that second week and I've been swelling ever since. But it does get better! Try to rest as much as possible. activity increases swelling. Keep taking pictures and enjoy the journey!
Thanks so much!! No implant strap - I have an appt tomorrow, I will ask about it :) Thanks for the encouraging words!
You look great! Do you have any recent pictures? Take care :)

Thank you for posting all of the great information and pictures.  Wow you did very well and I am so happy for you.

So you had general anesthesia and it was not administered and monitored by an Anesthesiologist?

I guess it was general anesthesia?? I'm not sure what they used. But there was not an anesthesiologist there - it was monitored by Dr Ahmadi.
Dr Ahmadi uses IV sedation with an RN and he monitors. I was also very concerned when I heard this but assured as it wasn't "general anesthesia" a CRNA or Anesthesiologist is not used. Was told they can bring one in for more money. I had no problems with my sedation, however I walked in the surgery center at 7 am and yet I didn't walk out till nearly 530 at night.
