Had a great visit with my surgeon. The seroma has subsided and the steroid did it's job! I've been cleared to workout and swim so I'm a super happy camper!! :)

I'm great. My father broke his ankle and is awaiting surgery. This happened on July 17 and the surgeon said he wanted to wait for the swelling to go down. My dad is almost 83 so he is in a nursing home while waiting. I visit him daily. Haven't been on here much. How have you been??

oh my goodness I am so sorry to hear about your father, I hope everything turns out well for him and he recovers quickly! I am doing very well I hope your hanging in there and doing well too! Hugz!

I think I'm finally feeling better. The rash is slowly improving after 2 full days of a steroid. I've been taking lots of benedryl so I've been a bit out of it! My awesome seroma seems to be hanging on for dear life however, it doesn't seem to be getting worse so I'm not too concerned. My doctor doesn't seem to be either. I will see him tomorrow. I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. Sorry for my absence. :) ?
