This post is going to completely contradict the last...I am hoping to have these implants removed. It's true that they have gotten a lot softer. When I am sitting or standing they feel natural. Its when I lay down, or lay on my side, or bend over that they feel abnormal. I can very easily cup the bottom and side edges of the implants. I am so jealous of people who say they can't even feel their implants and that they feel like they've been there all along b/c that has never happened to me. Not one day has passed where they have felt like they were a part of me. When I wear a bra everything is fine but when I have my bra off it is very uncomfortable. During sex they can be very uncomfortable depending on the position. I love the way they look. They aren't perky but they are larger, fuller versions of what I had before and I'm OK with that. I am thinking I should switch to the silicone gel implants that aren't cohesive, I just don't know if they will look the same.
I hate to complain but I'm also not thrilled with my TT. My surgeon did smart lipo a few months ago because I had a lot of fat hanging over my scar. That has improved, the smart lipo was great and I would definitely recommend it but I'm still not happy with my scar. Instead of removing the old scar tissue from my c-section he cut on that same scar, so the edges where the scar was extended look great, just a thin white line. The middle of my scar where my c-section was is still purple. I wish the old scar tissue would have been removed. And I have a dog ear. Guess it's time for another consult. :(

I didn't know this until after I had the teardrop implants inserted that the gel inside the teardrop implant doesn't move. When I had round silicone implants and I laid on my side, the gel inside the shell would tip with gravity. I hate my teardrop implants, I can also feel the rim, not as much now a year has passed but I would rather have my old implants back in even though they're smaller. Good luck with your consult , I'd love to hear what your plans are :)

How did you get on? I cried the whole way home with disappointment :(

So sorry to hear that! I was disappointed too. I was told that there was a chance that if I swapped these out that I may not notice a difference because these implants are not much firmer than the smooth rounds. When I felt both in my hands they really didn't feel that different . He did say that since these were textured and designed not to move that maybe that is why I feel so uncomfortable. Then I have to consider the risks of having another surgery like CC or infection or maybe a different implant wouldn't look as good. My biggest hold up, though, is the cost. It will be $6,000 to swap the implants out and I'm having a hard time getting past that. The initial procedure was almost $14,000. It doesn't feel right spending this much on my body. I just wish these would feel normal! Why was your appointment so bad??

This ps said about infection too, what is wrong with them, we know the risks. Thing is with teardrop they make the pocket a snug tight fit so they might feel firmer for that reason because they have not room to relax if that makes sense? The man I saw was consulting with me in one room and another girl in a different room AT THE SAME TIME! Moving between us every couple of minutes, he didn't seem to care that I said I have pain, he said they're not perfect but could be worse and that if another surgeon agreed to operate on me that they'd only be doing it for my money . I was told to get dressed and that his nurse would then come in and talk to me, I didn't wait, I just walked out in floods of tears.

I'm hoping you get your results you want, it's amazing how much we learn about our selves and the surgeries we want. Good luck!!

I can't believe how much softer my breasts have gotten in the last 2 months! They feel and look completely natural. My left is still a little firmer than the right but it is much better than it was a few months ago. I can sleep on my stomach with no problems now. I spent so much time obsessing over this! I wish I would have been more patient...
I was also really upset about the size at first but I've gotten more comfortable with them. I finally found the right bras which really makes a difference. I was wearing minimizers thinking they would make them look smaller but really they were just re-distributing my breast tissue and making my side-boob more pronounced which made me look bigger. The lady who sized me after surgery said I was a 32DDD, but lately I've been buying mostly 34DD b/c they are more comfortable. I was shocked when she told me my size though b/c I've always worn a 36C!
