My Southern Sagging Skin YIKES!!! St Louis, MO

My involvement with St Louis MO Life Style Lift center began on June 18. I went to the Clayton center and was met there by a very nice receptionist. She introduced me to my consultant. Her name is Tammy. I will not reveal her last name for her security. If you go to the office for the procedure you most likely meet her. But, anyway she went over the procedure with me in details. She had pictures took of my face for comparison proof. She set up the appointment for the next day to meet the Dr. I returned the next day to meet Dr. James Scheu. He is a pleasant individual. He went over the procedure with me as well as gave me his other suggestions that he thought would make me even more happy with my results. He suggested to me to do and under the eye procedure and the complete laser facial peel. Those two procedures are both additional charges from the initial Life Style Lift procedure, That procedure involves the cutting around the ears and cutting under the chin area. The eyes was just a simple cut underneath the eye with such a fine incision I can no longer see the incision. Then the laser peel. This involves the use of a laser which he touches to your face all over it. I woke up during this procedure and I think the Dr. was shocked. I was so much out of it still that the laser zappings I was feeling did not even hurt. The only complication I had was such excessive bleeding that the Dr. had to stop the procedure for about an hour or so. In that time the bleeding was brought under control and he was able to complete the procedure. They then took me back down to my friend that drove me there. Yes you have to have a driver. There is no way of driving out of somewhat coming out of your unconscious state of mind. She took me home and I was down for 17 days from the procedure. Like I said if it had not been for my family and friends helping me out I would have been screwed because it is defiantly not an easy procedure. It truly is one of the most horrible experience I think I have ever went through and I am a really tough cookie. You must have the time and help to get through the healing process. It has been four months now since I had my procedure, My ears and under the chin area still is pretty numb. They told me it could take six months to a year to feel normal again. I am adding some of the pictures I have of my procedure. I want to thank everyone at the center for the assistance in helping me achieve my new face. I am very happy with my results at this time and I know that the procedure is still changing. In a few months I will add some more input and pictures. Thank You My Southern Sagging Skin Yipes!!! This is my updated picture postings from my procedure. This is a little over 5 mos. I love my new looks. It was a hard recovery for me but was worth it. Dr. Scheu did a great job. Will keep you updated. R Lovett
