I am 20 years old - 4 days post op - Springfield, MA

So I got to get out of the house today went and got a manicure and pedicure , I didn't feel too good while I was there so when I came home I went right to bed. But I'm feeling much better I'm not taking as many pain meds because the pain is not too bad I am just uncomfortable more then every , where my stitches are gets very itchy ... Other then that taking it day by day :)

Everything is going good and is on track , I haven't even felt much pain except in my neck because the Way I have to sleep im not used to it yet , I got to shower today witch felt amazing ! And when I changed my bandages I looked at them and they are looking nice and small which I am so happy about . I've been taking meds every 4 hours with a small snack cuz I havent had much of a appetite . My bed has been my bestfriend all day and I'm sure it will stay that way for the next week or two , even tho I might go crazy if I just sit here all day but I want to heal so I'll just stick it out til I came be out and about , post op scheduled for the 14 th

So it's all done , sorry it took so long for me to update but I've been out of it since yesterday, but guess what there gone !!!! It was a very nerve racking experience but I am happy to say I am home in bed nice and comfortable. I arrived at the hospital around 7:30 and they called me in almost right away. They I did paper work and then started my I.v . From there it went pretty quickly . They gave me pain pills before I went in do they could be ahead I the pain then the surgen came in and made his marks and then about 9 am they were rolling me into the OR. Next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. Not much pain at that time just soreness. The surgen took out 2 1/2 lbs , and I went from a dd mayb bigger , down to a big b small c , I finally got a look when they went to change my dressing . They did have me stay over night but no drains so I felt as comfortable as I could be considering my surgery. I didn't sleep much tho because I am not used to sleeping on my back so that will take some time getting used too. They finally let me go home today around 11:30 and home into my bed I went I had my mom and boyfriend with me and they made things very easy for me. The pain has not been too bad because I am keeping ahead on the pain meds just to play it safe. From what I can see they look very nice still swollen and brused but not as bad as I expected them to be . I am still sleepy tho so I am going to try to get some sleep and will write tomorrow with more details! Any questions let me know :)
