Have turned the corner

$3,000
Finally we are seeing progress in the healing. Doctor told me last week I'm the worse case he has ever seen and hopes he never sees another case those bad. Bless his heart, I'm used to my body fighting itself with my Lupus and artery disease it affects so much in the healing process when your antibodies don't function right and there's no blood getting to the tissue. Seeing improvement in the last week!!!!

Really like my Dr so far. He is very nice and doesn't rush and answers all your questions. He staff is great also. He has been so understanding and makes me feel great when I go in to see him. Neither of us like what's going on right now but he is very encouraging.

Bless you! Not only do you have great courage but it sounds like from your posts you try hard to stay upbeat. That is a gift. Thank you for sharing your journey with us and showing us what true perseverance is. Will keep you in my prayers. So glad you may have turned a corner on this.
So glad to hear you have made progress. You are indeed a strong woman and i admire you. Thank you for your posts and pics. I know you will just love your new boobs in time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I love that ur Dr is honest and patient, that matters sooo much - I also love the fact that u are so brave and upbeat through all the setbacks, it's so unfair : (! I'm a former smoker myself and it's such a wake up call when having surgery that these are real possibilities and it could happen to any of us - Thanks so much for sharing your journey and I'm glad things are finally heading in the right direction for you : )! Best wishes and speedy healing to you!
Upbeat is the only way to be getting rid of these girls. Lol I only wish I had done this when I was younger. I'm already seeing a difference in myself , I covered everything up all the time and I've noticed I'm not as conservative as I have been all my life.
Hey IM also doing wound care how is your wound doing now

Healing not so good

This is taking alot more time than thought to heal. Seems like I take one step forward then two steps backward. The feeling is coming back and it is getting painful to do the wound care.

Hi Im sorry you are having issues. IM having issues with my one breast healing is slow. What is your ps having you do?
I started out with neosporin then when the blisters popped we did wet bandages with Silvadene, now that the fatty breast tissue is showing in some places we went tower to dry with saline. That got all old tissue pulled off and now he has me putting the saline gauze on just the fatty tissue and back to neosporin on red and pink tissue
Thank you for your honest story, I love your courage, with wound care and all your positive additude is awesome!
Any one develop dead skin after a breast reduction
You do have great courage. I'm hoping the feeling will stay away until your breast is much better. What does the Dr think the long term prognosis will be?

Special Conditions

I'm not in good health and my Doctor knew there was going to be alot of problems with me but I wanted this do bad and needed it he did it for me anyway. I'm having wound care issues and we might end up doing skin graphs under the left breast.
