I was so excited about my body, I forgot to let you know a lil about me. Im a 37 yr old mother of two, that live in SC.. I am 5'1 and was 190lbs, because of that reason no other Dr.'s wanted to give me my surgery because of my bmi, well Dr. Holdredge did my surgery with all of his care and experience and I couldnt have visioned a better result. I feel I encountered the best plastic surgeon in SC, at Bearwood Plastic Surgery. I had nine previous surgeries because of medical reason, Robotic surgery was the reason it was hard to save my belly button, but I am just so thank for the beauty Dr. Holdredge gave back to me..

well today was a good day, I rest a lil more. I notice that some of the women here are restricted from showering, my Doctor insist that I shower. I love this because Im clean, skin healing faster with no inflammation.I am just thankful. I weigh myself last night, Im down 12lbs from the first day I came home from surgery. wooohoooo!!

Im so happy with the outcome, I do have a lil loose skin, my surgeon will fix that. Im very thankful for all Bearwood PLastic Surgery/ Dr. Holdridge has done. I feel wonderful, yes Im still very swollen but, I have lost 38/40lbs in the meantime.. I can Breathe!! Thank you Lord

Well Im still swollen, im not sure how much longer I will be this way, but my tummy has to be touched up because of a loose hanging skin between the two incisions, i pray this swelling go away, im still in pain, im starting to wonder if this is fluid on my tummy. I dont think this is normal but i did have a 7hr long surgery, so i will talk with my surgeon more in June.. Im praying for everyone here thats considering tummy tuck.. The best Surgeon I've ever met 100% the Best. I met the most wonderful Doctor a couple of weeks ago at Bearwood Plastic Surgery, named Dr. Terry Holdredge. I feel he was God sent because is bedside manners were so beautiful and Dr. Holdredge went above and beyond what was asked. Im so happy with my outcome, Im in tears because of what good work my Dr done. I've seen some tummy tucks and was trying to figure what I would look like, I spoke to another Dr. before speaking to Dr. Holdredge and that doctor told me I would not have a flat tummy and she would not do Lipo because my medicare insurance was paying. Dr. Holdredge didnt care who was paying, he did lipo,scar revisision with lipo and tighten my abdominal muscle also body contouring. Im speechless, my Dr came back to check on me, he explained what all he had done, and when it was time for my release, Dr. Holdredge told me if I need him for any reason due to the surgery, please contact him, we gave hugs and he said he love me as his patient. Im still in tears.. Dr Holdredge is the best surgeon I've ever met, Heaven sent

Ahh 37 i am glad you are doing good! You make me smile because I know I wait upon God to move on my behalf! I am glad that you had favor and had your surgery done. I haven no issues with my tummy other than have kidney stones! I am so happy for you because I know not only is God our healer he truly gives us the secret desires of our hearts! I am happy for you! Thank you for your encouragement I have only heard nope no that isnt going to happen and you know what I am still going to talk to my Dr! Please keep me updated on everything how you are healing ups downs all of it thank you!

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment, yes my Medicare paid for my surgery, Abdominoplasty/Panni and scar revision. I didnt have weight loss surgery, I had multiple surgeries in my tummy which caused it a medical issue. My surgeon is a God sent, I couldnt have asked for a better Doctor. He went above what was asked ( Lipo) ( Tightening my muscle) Im in tears when I speak of my surgeon, because he is truly a child of God. I pray all goes well for you in the future and I will keep you posted on all updates soon. Having this surgery really does help with future weight loss..

Hey sweetie you look great! So to my understanding insurance paid for surgery but you have had other issues. You look awesome!!! CHOOOWWW you look great... Well I have recently if been on this journey and I know several people who have had gastric by pass and or lapband and Medicare or Iehp (state insurance paid for this... Then after the wieght loss they paid for the tt! I do know some insurances upon investagations pay for panniculectomy but not cosmetic part of surgery. I have been on a wieght loss journey for a while and yes my back does hurt but I though it was cause Im getting older... Just trying to see what my options are. I am truly glad you found a dr who isnt worried about money it about helping the patient!

hi!!! yes, i went to the same dr. however, i didn't to the scar revision as planned. I did a little lipo instead.. I will keep u posted.. Thank you. Hope you're feeling better :)

Awesome. I had mine done 18 months ago. and I'm thinking on going for a revision next week.. I have some loss skin underneath my scar, plus my scar is too high (i think).. :) i am nervous!! ughh,,,.
