I grew up a serious athlete and even in my best shape always had a little pooch. Recently, I lost 25 lbs that I had gained over the past couple years and decided to go for the pooch removal! I always wondered what it would be like to walk around without sucking in and not worry when I lean over in a bathing suit.

I am 1 week post op and thrilled so far. The scar is higher than I wanted, but no fault of the doc. I had part of my lung removed 7 years ago and the scar tissue kind of prevented him pulling me tighter than he wanted to. Had drain for 5 days. Was on pain pills for 4 1/2 days then switched to advil.

Anyway, I am happy and would do it again. I am having a breast reduction in 2 wks, always had large breasts and was a college goalkeeper! So, needless to say, I am ready to downsize.

Update; 13 days post op. Things are going well. I had some fluid drained from abdomen on Monday, which helped flatten me out some more.

I asked Dr if there was anything less obvious I could wear tyo work than the binder and he said I can switch from my binder to control top panties. I am doing this for work, so I do not habve to try and hide the bulky binder, but will swtich back at home.

I bought firm control flexee boy shorts, that pull up over my belly button. I am concerned this isn't high enough or will create an indentation or something.

Any thoughts on this?

I am having tt on April 7th, and am VERY VERY SCARED!! Were you scared? Thanks for letting me about your surgery.

Hey there..I was nervous and got a little scared the morning of. So far, 1 week out, the whole experience was not as bad as I thought. I feel great, except the normal soreness and went back to work today. I am 36 yrs old and never had kids, so my biggest thing was knowing that this surgery meant I was choosing to not have them. It is normal to be scared, but worth it in the end. Good luck!

No problem! He also just did my breast reduction on Apr 16 and I am very happy. My TT scar is so thin and flat. He's a great doc.

Who is a good PS in the Greenville,SC area.I need a TT due to surgeries trying to become pregnant and then the C section to deliver baby and then the hystorectomy. I am 56. Also when I see cost quotes is this the complete cost or maybe just the cost of the Surgeon?

It seems that the cost changes very much by location . Rock Hill is a better price and like size price also does matter. I am stilling trying to decide myself. I am sure for mine to look correct I will need a full TT

I had my breast reduction done in Mt Pleasant SC, which is in the Charleston area, by Palmetto Plastic Surgery. I'm having a full abdomen and bra roll lipo with fat transfer done in Tampa on June 23 by Premiere Center. I can let you know how it went once it's done. But I've heard of Dr. Crawford, in fact he's doing a breast reduction for my cousin and I've heard he's pretty good. In Tampa the cost of surgery is cheaper, but the doctor I choose has an awesome track record as well. I've gotten at least six quotes, and hers isn't the cheapest, but it is very reasonable including my two week stay in Tampa.

I want this surgery too but I am pinching pennies right now lol....I'd love to have the fat grafting done too but i am not sure if Dr. C does this
