Birthday! (2 day post opp)
$4,500
Today is my birthday, and Im so glad to say they feel so much better! finally they are small and in proportion with my body. Though the swelling is still pushing them up, I love the fact that I can hold them in my hands again (havent been able to do that since school. I am going to post some photos form yesterday, but be warned, they look war like.
As you will be able to see the right boob is more swollen than the left, with a drainage pipe. Thats the one that had the heamotima, The pipe is hopefully coming out today. It is still really swollen and I can tell the brozes are going to be terrible. I am still really glad that they found it early enough that it did not cause any permanent dammage.
The doctor didn't do the normal T opp, as you can see, the entire inside of my chest is unscarred which I think is really good. I cant tell how far the outside scars stretch yet, but the doctor said he was careful to make sure they wont show in a bikini.
Seeing as everything uncomfortable is discussed on this web sight, has anyone felt bloated and constipated after the opp? Its starting to get uncomfortable. My doctor said that its from the pain killers (which im still taking on schedule), but I dont want to have to stop taking them for that reason.
Some areas of my boobs, under the tape, are getting a bit itchy, which i think just shows that they are heeling a bit, I hope.
My mom is gonna help me shower and wash my hair today, having some people over for cake, and want to look better than now, hehe. But I am happy, really happy, with how they are looking and feeling.

Feeling so much better today! The swelling in my right breast has normalised, and i even got to sleep a bit last night. The facility I'm at is amazing. I feel like i am in a hotel more than a hospital. If anyone out there is contemplating whether to stay the nigh or not, i would really recomend it. The nurses come and check you, and if it wasn't for that i may never have realised that there was something wrong.
My new boobs feel good, but a little stiff. The doctor just came to see me and show me my new little boobies. They are very perky, but im sure that they will look more normal soon. Im very happy. The last drain is staying in for one more day, which is good as it makes me feel safer .

Congrats!
Congrats on your new boobies! I'm so excited for you. We are officially heeling buddies (I had mine on Monday). I hope you continue to feel better. Keep us updated!

Day of treatment
On the other side
It is so strange to be on this side of the opp... Had to wake up early, but i hardly slept a wink last nigh. The nurses were very nice and friendly. The doctor came in and did the markings, and before i knew it i was downstairs making jokes with the anaesthetis. The opp when really well according to my doctor, and they took out 350g from the one side and 450g from the other (dont have a unit converter).
However, when i was back upstairs in the recovery ward i became aware that my right breast was more swollen. At first the doctor said it was nothing to worry about, but later the nurses saw how much bigger it was getting and called the doctor back. Turns out i had developed a heamotima on my right breast. So they immediately took me back into theater and drained it.
Now im sitting in the recovery ward again, feeling much better and more comfortable. The whole procedure went well, i think. And i am very grateful for such wonderful support from my mom, the nurses and you guys :)
