This group of doctors saved my life! I've lost 120 lbs with the "sleeve" surgery and am very pleased with the level of service offered by this caring group of healthcare providers in Mexico. An added bonus: the price is about half of the cost in the U.S., plus the procedure can be performed quickly (over a four day weekend) safely (this group is very experienced) and with a nice trip to the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Baja, California. Recovery is only two nights in a clean, well-appointed hospital with very kind nursing staff and one night at Grace Guesthouse, operated by a bi-lingual (the owner in from the U.S.) caring team and overlooks the Pacific Oceans. They also provide transportations to and from the San Diego airport.

From what I've been told, you can go back to work almost immediately, with only one limitation: no lifting of 10 lbs or more for 10 days.

I just did the Gastric Sleeve a week ago with Jaime Ponce De Leon MD and I have to say that could'nt be happier and safer, knowing that he has a huge experience ( not sure now) but maybe thousands of procedures in his hands.. And as you noted, everything around it was very very good, the hospital, the follow up, the price, the ride..

I hope you are beginning to see some amazing results. By now you should have your nutritional plan all worked out. I hope you are adding some kind of exercise into your regimen so that your skin will hopefully be good to you.

Men seem to do so well with this procedure -- much better than the band. Their biggest challenge with the sleeve seems to be the pre-opt liquid diet and post op nutritional plan. Once the seven weeks are over, post op, though, the weight just seems to drop off the men. They just need to keep their protein levels up, like women, to have plenty of energy!

Congratulations.
I had my sleeve surgery with Dr. Jaime Ponce De Leon as well and I am happy and healthy!! I just realized the date of this post 2012...I had my sleeve just over a month ago and I'm 27 pounds down.... More to go! I highly recommend Dr Ponce and Trish with wls4betterlife. Awesome! Take care!

The facility was clean, people were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was wonderful, clean and room service ( all paid for by WLS). I had surgery Feb 5 and today down 31 pounds! More to go! I expect by Christmas, I'll be looking great! Lol

im having the vsg in a couple of weeks. Im going to Dr. Ponce. The package includes the procedure, transportation, meds. I have to book & pay for my hotel. Maybe i should look into another facility. My coordinator is Trudi.

Yes, the doctors are so kind, considerate and very approachable. I found them so personable, there. Aren't you excited about the weight just falling off? 27 pounds in a month! You are well on your way.

Yes...Different coordinators offer different things. Trish is with WLS4BetterLife and she works directly with Dr. Ponce De Leon.
