WORTH IT
The best part of all is my insurance paid for the explant surgery.. I think of the money I waisted getting the implants in but I guess that was a piece of my life where I thought that bigger breast would make me fell better about myself. If I would have known then what I know now I would of never got them in the first place.

Lucky girl - I sure wish my insurance would have paid for surgery! Happy for you - you look great!
Congratulations on getting your implants removed. I hoping to have mine removed I have a rupture in one and it happen when my son was five months. I am breastfeeding and my son is Alonso 11 months and I'm starting to wean him. I can't wait to have them removed I am scared of the surgery and Of how I will look. I see a lot of you ladies look beautiful after I hope I will to. I have had them in for 16 years and the rupture was the push I needed. I hoping it will not cost to much, that's fantastic your insurance covered yours. I hope your Your are doing well :) it's so inspiring to hear your sorry thanks for sharing Daisy :)
You look great! I wasn't going to show my husband either but he hung around at shower time today! :) Only been 2 days but so far so good. Now I am just hoping for healthy healing and enough breast to fit into the $$ of bathing suits I bought last summer when I still had the implants! And, I too, felt the annoying bouncing, but in a golf cart! And, my last mammogram was painful, for the first time (I am 55) and I finally felt enough was enough. So, happy, healthy healing to you!
I didn't know insurance would pay. I am thinking of having mine removed because I am not feeling well and have not been able to get any kind of diagnosis. Someone mentioned it could be the implants. But I thought I would have to pay out of my own pocket.
You can go to your Dr. and ask your Dr to refer you to a breast cancer Dr.because your having trouble with your implants and would like to have them removed.
You look great!! I am hoping my results are as good as yours.
Thank you. I am just glad there out. the Dr. says it could take up to a year until all the skin takes it's normal shape again and that I may need a lift but I'm not gettting anything else done. Good Luck with yours breezy.

I had implants done in May,2005. I was a 36 B and implanted to a 36DD.330cc's of saline in each breast. I was happy at 1st. Then they were just in the road and I could not jog like I used to without my boobs bouncing alot and riding horses too they hurt when the horse ran and made them bounce. Then my mammograms were VERY painful. I finally talked to my Dr. about the pain and discomfort of Mamograms. My left breast implant showed up in the mamogram it was decompressed and had a fold in it which was the cause of the pain it was giving me. My Dr referred me to an awsome Dr in my area and he took them out for me Oct.19th 2012.I am so relieved to have them out and have my realself back. Everything went smooth with surgery and now I am painfree. It will be 2 wks tommorrow since I explanted and I am very happy with my decission.
