I just had mommy makeover with mini tummy tuck, breast implant exchange with right pocket repair and lipo on hips.

After two kids-this was the best gift I could have given to myself! So far so good. 2 weeks post op.

were you in ALOT of pain after surgery?? maybe I don't want to know lol
chloeskye 6 Apr 2011
In all honesty- my c-sections were way more pain than this! Are you only having mini TT or full? The mini is so easy. The lipo on my hips hurt the most and you are not doing that so you have nothing to worry about. The vicodin made me nauseous so by day 4 I was on extra strength tylenol and by day 5 i was taking advil which in my opinion works the best but you cant take advil till day 5. I think this works better than vicodin. As soon as I got off the vicodin I was a new person. I had my done on monday and was at a 2 year old bday party by sunday. It was so not that bad at all. I would do it again in a heart beat! I probably would have been up and about sooner if i wasn't so nauesous from the vicodin.

I'm having a mini with some lipo I had a really hard time when I had a c-section with my oldest that's why im so scared> Glad to hear you did soo well!

The mini is really just an incision of skin. He isn't cutting into the muscle. Stop worrying so much. You are going to be fine. I know how you feel though, I felt the same way. I wish I knew how easy it was. I would have done it YEARS ago. I was alway scared of the recovery. I pictured myself lying around in pain for weeks. Its really not bad at all. I am two weeks post and I feel great. You are going to be soooooo happy. I can't wait to see your before and after pics. They are going to be amazing.

You have two people on this site who went to the same doctor you are going to. LOOK at the pictures. He is a great surgeon. You should be more excited than scared. Post your before pics. If you don't, make sure you take some for yourself. It's amazing to see the difference in the photos.

Agreed- the c-section is brutal. I was scared about the same thing. However, it is nothing like a c-section. This is a walk in the park compared to c-section. I had the same thing- just mini with some lipo. I hardly noticed any pain! Sware. i had the most pain on my hips! and even that was tolerable! BE EXCITED! you are in good hands.

Thanks ladies!...Just got phone call from mammo place! have to go back and redo left breast ohoh :{
readyforchange 6 Apr 2011
so did I. They saw a dense area in the left breast. Sometimes they just need a different angle. It was nothing. Don't worry.

Haha you must think I'm such a worrier and Im actually NOT! nothing ever bothers me I usually make up my mind and go for it! So that's it all positivie thoughts :} Thanks again

If you werent worried- you wouldnt be normal! lol

I would do it over in a heartbeat too. Do you feel like your belly is still swollen? Also, how tight are you wearing your garment? I'm wondering if I'm not wearing mine tight enough. My upper abs are fine but the lower seem swollen.

I can't wait to get this darn compression thing off already. I'm tired of being squeeeeeezed. Getting a much needed haircolor today. Walked 2 miles this morning. Could have done more but I'll be a good patient and listen to the doc. My body is begging for me to MOVE.

I got my hair done last week! lol I think what i have on is way more comfortable than the binder. Mine goes from knees to upper belly but its more like a spanx kind of thing! mine is pretty comfortable! i wore the binder for a day!
chloeskye 6 Apr 2011
mine belly does not feel swollen really at all. It is a little hard in my lower abdomen but not bad. Did you have muscle repair? I did not so maybe that is the difference?
chloeskye 6 Apr 2011
did you take off the steri strips yet? You should take them off and let the incision breathe!Feels much better. I promise! and already looks better after 24 hours. It needs some air.
readyforchange 6 Apr 2011
I do feel like taking them off. I had a lift done also so I have a cut under and down the breast. Maybe that is why she told me to keep the strips on. I'm going to take them off tomorrow. I have to go pick up some scar guard first. When you start working out on Monday, are you going to incorporate any lunging squatting. I need to work on my lower body. I feel like I'll be fine doing it, just wondering if I can.
chloeskye 6 Apr 2011
scar guard is great. I have to say not as good right now for the belly. It made me itch. I put maderma on my belly but scar guard is amazing on the breasts! no lunging for me- dont forget i had lipo on my hips. I need to wait a bit more. I am still swollen on my legs!
chloeskye 6 Apr 2011
agreed!
