When I had my consultation with Dr. Ridgway I was impressed with his calm and positive demeanor and the fact that in addition to being a doctor he is also an artist. He patiently explained what the surgery would entail and any risks associated with it. He made himself available to answer any questions I had regarding the surgery. The surgery went very well. Additionally I had undereyelid surgery (bags) done at the same time (an additional $3000). I experienced no complications. I would recommend Dr. Ridgway to anyone considering Asian eyelid surgery or under eyelid surgery.

I had wanted to have this procedure done for years but was put off by the many poor results (uneven folds or a perpetual surprised look) I had seen on other people in the past. A trusted nurse friend Marilyn recommended Dr. Ridgway to me so I decided to go for it. I felt very little pain after the surgery. The only uncomfortable part of the whole experience was having to sleep propped up with pillows in bed for a few days and applying cold compresses to the eyelids. After the stitches were removed the folds looked large as Dr. Ridgway said they would look after a couple of weeks. Now at the 5 month mark all the swelling is gone and my eyes look very natural. I am very pleased with the results.
Great review?
My Doctor: James M. Ridgway, MD
My rating:
I am not exaggerating on these ratings. Dr. Ridgway and the Larabee Clinic Staff are top notch. While I was in the waiting room I met several folks from out of state who flew in to Seattle to have work done.
Thanks so much for your review and update, Janey. Congrats on your surgery!
