Tummy Tuck/ Skin Removal After Weight Loss

Well I promised everyone before and after shots so here they are. I'm just so happy I did this for myself. After losing over 100 pounds this was just the last leg of my journey. It was a little rough in the beginning but it has been so worth it. I'm still having some swelling issues but that is a small price to pay for the end results. I'm seeing my surgeon in a couple more weeks for a check up. I have a few puckers where my incision ends in the back but she assured me not to worry that she can take care of that later. I'm thrilled with my results. Dr. Daiza is the best!!!!

Well what a time I have had. I went in for a post op appt with my PS last night because I had some swelling on left side that didn't look normal. She looked at it and agreed. She looked at my drains and discovered that I hadn't been squeezing all the air out of them. Thus they weren't getting that sucking action that is needed to take the swelling out of your tissues. So if anyone else out there is having a similar problem bend those little suction bulbs over and really squeeze that air out. Today has been better. Seems like I'm not as swelled up. She is going to take my drains out on Thursday morning. I told her she was crazy working on 4 th of July but she just loves what she does. She really is an awesome Dr. If anyone is in the Scottsdale az. Area I would highly recommend dr. Daiza. If my swelling isn't any better she suggested going back to surgery for a revision of that side so I. Hoping and praying that these drains starting doing their jobs. Like I've said before when I feel my tummy is all healed up enough ill post before and after pics. I think the after should be a nice picture that portrays dr. Daiza's work in the best way possible. I don't think it looks great right now but I think in a few days it will be better. Happy healing everyone.

I finally took off my corset and got see see the new me. I'm very swelled but I think it will be fine. New belly button looks great. I tied my drains up around my neck with a tension band and took a shower. It felt great. I'm still draining quite a bit. Called the ps and she said once my drains were only draining 20 cc's to call in and go in for post op. I was taking Valium but don't like how it makes me feel. I'm just going to take the hydro codeine. I feel really quite good today. Everyone that hash as had this surgery is fright. The first 3 days are hard and after that it gets easier. I'm so thankful that I have had this website to go to for advice. I also had my first BM yesterday as well. I just feel like I'm getting back to normal after only 4 days. YEAH!
