Tomorrow post surgery Doctor appointment

I was very happy with the process on the day of surgery. So far so good. This is day 4 of recovery. Pain is less and I am up and moving more. Still living in the recliner but feeling good. Believe that my deep breathing and eating broccoli are helping with a reasonable recovery. Also prior to surgery I had a lymphatic message and got an alignment at the chiropractor.

Day 5 - Keeps getting better, more energy, better stability. Need a daily nap still about 2.5 hours every afternoon. Sleep pretty well at night trying to keep on schedule at night with the meds. I have three drains and less fluid is draining everyday. Looking forward to seeing more results. I feel the reduction in weight when I stand and sit. Huge improvement and encourages me for the future.

One week into recovery. I am doing well. the healing process is going well. Glad I have m hubby around to help. The recliner is still my best friend. Yesterday was a long and tiring day for me. My best friend pasted away the day before my surgery and yesterday was the memorial service for her. Couldn't wait to get home and rest. A good nights rest and all is good. Staying on the med schedule but have cut the pain med in half and not having a problem. Still glad i did this. Wish I had not waited. Even with drains and all yesterday I got lots of compliments on how good I looked and what happened, my tummy was gone. So even thought I wasn't wearing new trimmer clothes, obviously, a change was visible to others. My next appointment is Thursday pm.

so far things to be going well. Today was a busier day than usual will try to take tomorrow easier. Still have bruising on butt flanks. The scale tells me I am considerably lighter even with the presence of swelling. Still happy I made the decision and look forward to good result increasing and to the day when I can restart some light exercise on my arms and legs. ... THanks for good wishes.

All is good but I have to say the best thing I did to aid my recovery and help my body get back quicker was going twice a week for a Nancy Wakley, Lymphatic Massage, at the Lymphatic Healing Center in Scottsdale. I got a package of 6 for after surgery and the results were excellent! As an LMT, I know the importance of the Lymph system and how it helps the body heal and function. Nancy has a specially designed treatment for the various surgeries. This massage as an after surgery program has allowed me to lose additional weight and heal better and faster. If you don't know about it. Ask me or check it out. 4 more weeks till I am released and can exercise again. So I got another 6 session package to take me to my release date. My body will be in excellent condition by then. Ready for some great new clothes.
