Bikram Yoga (hot yoga) @ 6 weeks PO?

Hello ladies!! Just a quick update. I started working out last week on Thur after my PS gave me the green light. I was on vacay so I only did a little walking since I knew we'd be walking alot during our trip. Yesterday I started back with the routine work outs. I did 30 minutes on the stair mill & a few walking lunges, squats & thigh machine. I am trying to start off slow since the PS still wants me to give my tummy muscles (and chest too) more time to heal. Seriously tho, we use our abs for so many workouts that it's hard to decide what to work & not work?? I am just trying to really listen to my body & obviously stay away from direct core work. SO, that brings me to a question for you guys! Has anybody attempted to do Bikram yoga (hot yoga) at 6 weeks PO? I forgot to ask my PS about this particular workout at my last appointment last week. I will probably call the PS in the am, but wanted to know what your thoughts were? I should tell ya that I am not new to Bikram, I am a 6 yr vet in fact, but it has been over 6 months since I have taken a class. It's hot as hell still in AZ so I have no idea what's possessed me subject myself to 120 degree heat indoors, but I really do love the workout. There is a ton of stretching & core work involved in this activity. Anywho, anybody that has input re: the topic & has attempted Bikram 6 weeks PO or earlier your input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much & Happy healing to all!!

Juicy swim suit pics ~ 5 weeks PO

Pics didn't post....

Fun in the sun, working out & going to Funky Town! ;)

This week marks my 5th week PO. Saw my PS & I'm super excited bc I have clearance to work out, swim & to take a little trip to Funky Town (wink, wink) Woohoo!! Oh & I can also wear underwire bra's now ;) Perfect timing on all of those items bc were headed to CA right now for our 1st trip since my SX.

I'm starting to feel the numbness in the back of my arms fade. I have more swelling than ever this week, but Aunt Flo is here & I've been super active lately. I'm very pleased with the way everything is healing! I asked my PS about how much longer for the swelling & he said 1-2 months. So worth it!

Happy healing everyone! Here's a pic of me wearing my "Juicy" swim dress. I chose a one piece since I am keeping my scars (bb too) covered until they are fully healed. I don't want the harmful rays of the sun to damage my PS's meticulous work!
