I had a breast reduction performed 11/22/13. My only regret is that I did not have it done sooner! I experienced discomfort for the first day or so, but not to the point of needing heavy duty meds. I probably did return to work too quickly - I am a dental hygienist and now realize that my job involves more physical activity than I thought. I recouperated a total of 10 days before heading back to the office but did end up regretting that decision. Should have take 2 full weeks to recover. I am now 5 weeks post-surgery and went to the gym today for an easy workout....
