The first time I went for a consultation with Dr. Teitelbaum, I asked his opinion about doing liposuction on my upper thighs and, to my surprise, he talked me out of it. He told me that my body was in proportion and, if I were to simply lose some weight, I’d probably be happier with my thighs. He was right. I took off 30 pounds a couple of years later, and my thighs didn’t bother me anymore. The next time I went for a consultation, several years and two children (by c-section) later, we discussed doing a mommy-makeover. We mutually agreed that a tummy tuck was not necessary…that he could get my now sagging and very much NOT-in-proportion tummy looking like it did before I had children by doing only liposuction on my abdomen.

I decided to do the liposuction procedure and have my eyes done at the same time. I am very happy with the results of both of my procedures, as well as the before and after care that I received. I do not react well with anesthesia and the anesthesiologist thoroughly went over my history with me before the surgery and ordered the right medication to assure that I came out of the procedure without nausea. I am now 2 months post op and have found the post-op care to be very thorough.
