I had my tt 3 months ago, my waist measured 30" (I am 5'5" tall, 132 pounds). My waist is still 30", my pants don't fit at the waist, and sometimes my waist even measures more, almost 32". I had full tt with some lipo on the flanks. Its frustrating.

I had my tummy tuck 10 days ago. I have lots of swelling and my clothes don't fit¡ Although I read a lot before having the procedure nothing prepared me for what I am experiencing. I am 5'5" inches tall, and was 130 pounds before the procedure. After loosing almost all the pregnancy weight, I still had excess skin around my middle. The results are not visible yet and I cant walk straight, well I can barely walk! Hope this will improve in the follwing week since I am returning to work next week. Reading others members experiences had help me a lot.

I was very skeptical myself, at 7 or 8 days for the same reasons as you. I did not think I would be able to go back to work at 10 days out. But I made it through. And now, at 17 days out, I'm finally seeing results & others are remarking on my looks, too. I have all of my energy back and do everything I did before, with the exception of picking up anything heavy. Hang in there and it really will start improving daily.
Thanks for your encouragement! I returned to work this monday and it wasnt that bad. Its been 19 days since my surgery, I am still swollen and my clothes dont fit. so I bought a couple of maternity pants. My doctor saw me yesterday and told me that everithing was ok, but that I will need to massage the left area of the waist, close to my hip, because the skin is not adhering properly and have some irregularites. I hope everithing turns out ok, and the results make this process worthwhile! Lets see how I look in the next couple of weeks!
