On 2012 I decided to replace my 25 year old implants. He didn't find my breasts to be a challenge, he agreed with the issues that needed to be fix but was super confident that it was something he could achieve without any problems. I also decided to get liposuction on my belly and flanks( I work out really hard, I'm about 5'5" and 118 lbs but after two kids I just cant loose the bulge of those areas)

The surgery went great, my recovery was very easy, no much pain with the help of the "pain pump" that Dr, Bermudez leaves inside the breasts area. Its been 10 months and the results are fantastic, my breasts look so natural and the shape is a 200% improvement, my stomach area is FLAT and my waist area is back to pre-babies 20 years ago!

The implants u had for 25 years were they saline or silicone?

They were silicone, no leaks, one got pretty hard about 2 months after surgery, and it was time to replace them! So glad I did! They look fantastic now, and soft!!

Congratulations....I'm glad to hear you are pleased with your results. I'm impressed that you went to see several surgeons and did a ton of research, especially since you already had implants. Just curious what made you decide it was time to replace the old implants? Had they changed over the years? The pain pump sounds amazing. Did you have to remove it on your own? Thank you so much for sharing your story on RealSelf 10 months post-op!!

As I mentioned i decided to replace them becauze one of the implants got pretty hard right away due to encapsulation, the diameter of the implants was too small for my torso and the scar around the nipples was wide. The pain pump involves two very thin tubes that are inserted in your armpit area to the breast area to deliver pain meds, the dr removes it for you at the one week post op visit.
