I've been following you all on realself for...

I've been following you all on realself for months, trying to decide exactly what I want for my BA. Now my operation date is coming up (8 days!!!) so I'm making my own page.Thank you all for posting your own pages and comments - they've helped me so much.

I've always been an AA to barely A, and have felt disproportionate because of it. I remember as a preteen looking at bras and being so excited thinking that soon I'd be able to wear them. Flash forward almost 20 years now and I still could be wearing my training bra. Now finally is the time for me to change that :)

I'm 5'9" 125lbs, athletic with fairly broad shoulders. I think I carry a fairly large breast size and look proportional. I'm a bit of a gym rat and love to lift weights, dance, etc. so I'm going with sub-glandular placement. The first consultation I went to the doctor told me that he only does under-the-muscle and that I should never do a pushup or pullup again since it would push my implants out towards the side of my chest. I couldn't believe he was serious. The women in his office also thought this was a perfectly reasonable circumstance. Not for me!!

I've decided to go with Dr. Karen Horton in San Francisco. She almost exclusively does sub-glandular placement. So far she and the rest of her office have been wonderful. I felt comfortable there right away. I think that I'm in very good hands. I'm still nervous though!

Wish pics

OK so it's two weeks post op for me. I didn't upload any pictures before but wanted to finish up my profile and hopefully get some comments, so I'm adding it all in now. I just got really busy and stressed with trying to get everything ready before surgery and then afterwards was the same. I'm a student and work, and I only took 2 days off so things have been pretty hectic. Here are wish pics I gave my doctor. I made them into a pdf so that she could have all the pics on a few pages. I really like Emily Ratajkowski's breasts so I put a whole page of hers. I know that hers are natural and that I can't get that exact result, but I wanted to give my doctor an idea of what my *perfect* would be if it were possible. The second page is more realistic (and most with implants) pictures of what I wanted.

posting my before pictures

Here are some before pics. I'm thin so I don't have much breast tissue. And even when I do have a bit more fat on me, it all goes into my legs and butt and my breasts pretty much stay the same not matter what. I like their shape and nipples, etc, just not the size. Also, these photos are about 10 months old, since then I've gotten my nipples pierced so you'll see that in the post pictures. I just didn't really think to take any pictures right before my surgery.
