Ive been waiting years to be at the point that I was able to get plastic surgery. I finally lost all of the weight I gained with my kids, 50lbs this year. I am also a type one diabetic and had to get hemoglobin a1c test in control in order to get my primary and endocrinologist to approve of the surgery. I had a huge fear of my blood sugar going low while I was under anastisia. My endo had me take 2/3 of my normal pm basil insulin. The ps nurse was so nice she checked my blood sugar throughout my surgery and time in the recovery room. Everything went as planned and Im excited to see my results after I'm healed.

Day 6 my drains are scheduled to come out tomorrow

This has been a rough week, the back pain and drain site pain has been a struggle for me. I have had 2 c-sections and for some crazy reason I anticipated the pain of a tummy tuck to be similar. Silly me.

Day 14

I'm on day 14, my swelling is going down but I still have my drains. I'm still draining around 50 ml a day from each drain. I returned to work s couple of days ago wich is pretty tough. I don't have an office job and am standing and walking around for hours. I sit down and rest when I can.
