I had been wanting a breast reduction for at least 10 years. I finally got up the courage to pursue it and I am so happy that I did. I had the surgery yesterday and it went very well. Everyone at the surgery center as well as Dr Pousti's were so great. The pain has been very minimal. I can't thank Dr. Pousti enough.

It's been a week now and so far so good. The pain was never really bad but I have felt a little claustrophobic with the bandages and the drains. That should all come off on Thurs. and I'll have my big reveal or maybe I should say my smaller reveal. In any case I can't wait. I will also enjoy being able to sleep in my bed and get out of the recliner chair. Who knew sleeping on your back could be so hard. Dr. Pousti and his staff have been great. Someone has called everyday to make sure everything is going well and to see if I have any questions.

I had a little setback around week 3. I got an infection. Dr Pousti was on it right away and after a 10 day regimen of antibiotics I was back to where I was before.The incisions have dried up and the scabs are falling off at this point. I can't wait to take a full shower. I have had some problem with the T incision seeping. It seems pretty dry this morning. I already feel the weight that has been lifted off my neck and shoulders and it feels so great. This is what I was shooting for. I wanted to be more comfortable. I was hoping for a C cup and that seems to be exactly what I got. Dr. Pousti made my breasts perfect. They have great shape and are the exact size I wanted.

I have healed really well. The scars are not really noticeable at this point and it will only get better. There is still some scar tissue that can be felt but it too is so much less then before. The size and shape are still outstanding. I don't think I could have had a better outcome. After having been through this process the only thing I would have done differently was to have babied myself more in the beginning. You need to follow the post surgical instructions and not be lifting your arms out and up like I did. I should have asked for help for the first month. Dr. Pousti and his staff have just been great through this whole process.

I am so excited. I just got a new bathing suit. I was able to get a one piece for the first time in I don't know how long. It fits so well and I'm not top heavy anymore. I can't wait to test drive it. Having this surgery has been so worth it.
