WORTH IT
Doing great! Been back to work for over a month, without complication. Boobs have dropped and fluffed. They still get sore on occasion, but nothing like before. Scars are healing great.

5wks post-op. Not enough change to post pics. Swelling is finally going down, and energy is going up. The spot ony left that I thought I opened up is still the same. I think the skin is just having a problem closing there. I will see the PS next week, and ask about all these minor issues.

I'm one day shy of 4 weeks post-op. I seem to be healing fairly well. I've been trying to take it easy, since I felt some areas open up at the T-junction after an afternoon of bra shopping 1.5 weeks ago. I suspected openings, because that burning cut feeling that I had felt in week 1 returned. Suspicion confirmed at my appointment when steristrips were removed 2 days prior to 3 weeks post-op. There were tiny deep looking openings at the T junction, and some minor bleedingunder the left areola. I've had paper tape on since then, until I removed and replaced paper tape ( pics are between tapings). I areas are healing, but I found an area on my far left side. Maybe because I keep waking up with my arm over my head ( increased tension on incision) or 1/2 cup(s) Yogurt, nonfat plain greek yogurt, kirkland 70
because I got too aggressive with removing old ahdesive reminants, or something else. I started eating healthier this week, stopped walking a mile a day, and minimized my outtings. Things have been difficult at home, because my kids have been sick with vommiting and my husband equates me being off work to becoming a full time mom/wife, and fixing all meals daily, doing laundry and housework. So, to save my energy for healing, I quit doing the extra stuff. I just don't need any persistent open spots or infections as I return to work. Anyway, so far so good.

Wow... Looks great... I've just been approved.... Waiting to hear back from the dr... I'm soooo scared...
Think of it as you are well informed, rather than scared;-). I don't feel like I've had the smoothest recovery, but just like pregnancy, I would do it again ( Nooo... but I won't do THAT again, but I did...got a girl and boy, I'm 35, and I'm done...lol). I'm counting my new boobs as a third child, and going to take care of them and love them forever. lol
Thank you... Well informed it is!
Thanks for the update NoMoreDDD4Me. Love this line "I'm counting my new boobs as a third child, and going to take care of them and love them forever." lol! I am looking forward to getting my BR in April, and as much as I am addicted to walking and running right now, I'm going to try really hard to take it easy for a while. I wish you had more support at home, as you ABSOLUTELY deserve it, however, please know that us ladies are here for you and support you. Too bad we couldn't pop over and help with your household work to allow you to recover. If we weren't spread out all over the world, I would be very happy to go help others as I wait for my own BR. Hugs to you and Good for you for making the decision to cut out certain activities to give your body a little more energy to recover and take care of your beautiful, small new boobies!
