So far with months of "google study" of implants...
WORTH IT$6,200
So far with months of "google study" of implants and options (no actual consultation yet), I am leaning towards silicone, round, under the muscle, and maybe moderate plus implants.
I'm 25 years old, 5'7", 135-140lbs, currently a 34 B/C and hoping to get around a DD. I used to have small D's briefly when I hit the peak of my weight gain at the end of college, I was a little over 160. My boobs almost looked fake back then. But obviously with weight loss, my breasts shrank quite a bit. My ribs seem bigger, but not hugely wide - this is my super "expertise" self-assessment, so who knows how off I am ;-).
Things that I really do NOT want are abrupt breasts at the top that look like you stuck a round implant on top of your boob and painted it skin color. I want the upper transition to be smooth, but I still want the upper breast to be full. This is why I am leaning towards under the muscle even though I'm in the fitness industry and a bikini/figure competitor. Fitness women into bodybuilding often encourage over the muscle to avoid complications that I am not qualified to even try to explain without reciting something from Google. This has led me to spend many hours of confusion debating, and eventually led me to talk with all the fitness women I know that got their implants under the muscle to see if it was really that bad, and so far their consensus was "no, under the muscle is amazing". BUT those girls were bikini girls so they weren't hugely stacked. I don't intend on building my pecs to be ginormous. In fact an elbow ligament injury somewhat prevents me from getting really heavy on my chest workouts anyway.
Secondly, I do not want my cleavage to be an inch apart. I'd rather my boobs come together like my butt cheeks do.... You know what I'm saying :-P no spacer in the middle. Luckily, my breasts naturally seem to be close together, or rather.... They DONT seem to be far apart.
With those two ideas of what I don't want... part of me feels like I should get moderate plus profile instead of HP? Or maybe because my breasts aren't far apart they would do alright with high profile... But then my ribs... Are they wide? Hahah... I'm guessing I will have to have a doctor help me determine what is best. Also I am not sure how the breast tissue I have currently would look over mod+ vs high. IT'S ALL SUCH A MYSTERY!!!
As of today, I am looking at surgeons in the Southern California area, and figuring out who I am going to have consultations with. I am moving down there in two weeks (end of February) and plan on getting this process started IMMEDAITELY. I anticipate having at least 3 consultations, and further hoping to get the procedure sometime this summer... Or before summer would totally be fine with me too ;-).

I used to have D's before I lost weight
Currently I'm a small 34 C but I used to be an AWESOME big round full D cup before I got into fitness. I am 5'7" and weighed about 163 lbs. Not I am 135-140, and my boobs aren't bad, but when I'm at competition weight around 125, my boobs are tiny!!
