I have always been a pretty petite girl. - Breast Augmentation - San Diego, CA

I had wanted my breasts augmented for as long as I could remember. I have always been a pretty petite girl and unfortunately, With that came small breasts. I always felt that breasts are what made a woman look like a woman. I finally decided in October of 2011, I was going to start researching doctors and get some price quotes. The first thing I did was emailed friends on Face book that had the procedure done, asking for their experience and doctor’s information, pricing etc… I think I emailed about 8 people and of the 5 people, three had said Dr. Pousti’s name. I mentioned his name to a co worker and she immediately said three of her girlfriends went to him and they loved him! So being that I now had a handful of people who had gone to him, I decided I would research him. After all my online research, I felt comfortable scheduling a consultation with him. I had called around a lot of places but I could tell just by customer service over the phone, it wasn’t right for me. When I called his office, I spoke with a woman named Margie. In previous years, I had had problems with narcotic pain medicine and was worried about the surgery itself and post op recovery. I had talked with Margie several times and Dr. Pousti was so kind, he called me himself to go over some specifics of my concerns. He spoke with the anesthesiologist to confirm I would be ok given the medications I was currently taking. The Dr. assured me I would be okay and the fact that he personally took the time to speak with me meant a lot. I didn’t expect that. So once I walked into the Dr’s office a week later, I immediately felt a sense of comfort. The girls in his office are absolutely wonderful! His staff alone deserves recognition. I felt extremely comfortable and respected in every degree. During the consultation, I met with a girl named Daisy, who provides by far the best customer service. She was extremely knowledgeable and so kind, she made me feel very comfortable. I was able to see other patients he had done work on in person, touch around and ask questions which I thought was awesome. My consultation went so well, I paid a down payment that day and scheduled the surgery. Now, I didn’t have the money to pay for the surgery at once, so I was planning on financing. I had problems getting approved and had to get a co signer but I accidently went through a company that Dr. Pousti didn’t do business with. I almost wasn’t able to go through with the surgery because for some reason I didn’t get approved through their recommended company. Dr Pousti was so helpful, he went through hoops to help me get the loan. He ended up signing a contract with this company JUST so I could use them and go through with the surgery. I don’t know what Dr would be willing to work with a whole new company just for me to get what I was looking for. So that alone was huge for me. He even gave me a $500 military discount because my boyfriend is a Marine! Talk about kindness! Once all the loan stuff was taken care of, I had my post op. Daisy went through everything with me in detail and answered all 10000 questions of mine without any grief. I then had surgery three weeks later. The Dr. and his team, including the nurse the day of the surgery, the anesthesiologist, everyone- was phenomenal. I am a pretty tough person to please at times And can demand a lot, especially with something as serious as a surgery and I have zero complaints. Dr. Pousti was so great, I referred him to one of my good friends, she actually immediately met with him and loved him so much she ended up having surgery the same day as me! we both got out of surgery and talked about how great the experience was. Dr. Pousti and the nurse held my hand as I dozed off then an hour later, I woke up and went home! The Dr. called me later that day to ensure I was doing okay, he was really good about calling in and checking on me. i was in discomfort for no more than three days. Now, I am about 7 weeks post op, I have had a few complications but my friend has had zero, so its probably just my body reacting to the foreign objects in me! I have probably emailed him literally, 100 times asking questions, showing pictures to make sure its normal etc..and they continue to answer me and respond quickly and even allow me back anytime I want to come in to talk about it in person. I pretty much know everyone in his office by name now since I have been in communication with them constantly just making sure I am recovering properly. My last appointment, the Dr. gave me flowers- just as an appreciation gesture! I 100% recommend Dr. Pousti, he was amazing from step one and continues to be. I feel extremely comfortable with him and his work is amazing. He listened to everything I said and I LOVE my new breasts. He went the perfect amount of CC’s and I am 100% satisfied. I am sure I left out some small details, but overall, he is an amazing Dr. and my friend also is absolutely pleased with the results. I usually am not one to post reviews etc… but I felt it was necessary for him and people looking for a Dr. to know how wonderful he is and how pleased I am with my results! Thank you Dr. Pousti!
