today is exactly one week post op. i went in to have my drain removed which was a bit painful so if you have and pain relieving pills i suggest popping two before going in to the drs. it hurt! the reason it hurt is because while the nurse was pulling it out the drain had become stuck in the fat; the nurse said that this doesn't usually happen but mine was stuck in three areas so she basically had to yank it out. pain and teary eyes ensued.

immediately after i had my second massage which is still just as uncomfortable.

today i posted some new pics, from the side my butt doesn't look that big which i don't mind but from behind it looks really full. i tried taking a picture but i couldn't get one that didnt look like me awkwardly posing. you can tell from the pics he really added hips. my new measurements now are 34b, 28 waist, and 40 hips, i dont recall how big my waist was before but it was pretty non existent, i know for sure my hips used to be 33, no bigger than 33.5

i had my first massage today. it was less painful than i expected and it went by much quicker too. everyone has been so lovely (all the girls here at club med & the nurses in campos office too) and it has made this experience so much easier. im going home this weekend and hopefully next week i can upload pics; i have lost a little bit of volume but its ok with me my waist is tiny and i have a booty for the first time in my life lol!

p.s. pain meds arent really necessary for me anymore, im just experiencing some stiffness which wakes me up at n ight what i usually do is walk around my room for 15 to 30 mins and that puts me right back to sleep. FOAM PILLOWS are a must. and dont think you have to buy those expensive ones at bed bath and beyond. walmart on line has some as low as $10

tomorrow im scheduled for my first massage, i'm feeling so and so about it im just hoping it wont be too painful. for me so far the worst part of the healing process has been sleeping on my back. the first night at the hospital even though the nurse did everything she could (i think she even gave me adouble of morphine) i couldn't fall asleep. here at club med i was having the same issue so i took two painkillers before going off to bed. i kept waking up every hour but it was the first night i got some decent sleep. i showered the day, was able to wash my hair on my own and everything after surgery too and i was surprised at how painless it was.
