I was recommended to Dr. Garza by a friend who had a procedure done with him and she was pleased at the results. However the procedure was not liposuction, that is what I had decided on doing. Looking back, I should have done more research and sought out someone I found a connection with because I did really did not feel great about our meeting but went through with the procedure anyway. He performed the lipo on my abs in hisoffice under local anesthesia. It hurt, not to mention the most uncomfortable tugging and pulling. I had absolutely no change in results which he saw at our follow up meeting. Dr. Garza told me that I simply moved around too much during the procedure. He essentially blamed the bad results on me. He then rescheduled the procedure in his surgical center and said he would absorb the extra $250 he should have charged for the procedure being done in a surgical setting. This time he did use anesthia. After 1 month post op, I still had no good results. As a matter of fact, there were no visible results at all. I never bothered going back since all oft confidence in him was lost. No one I knew could even tell I had lipo. For the next few years, I thought that it was just me and my body that was the problem. Then I recently got the courage to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who upon examinaton could not believe that I had lipo done a few years back. I am now 2 and 1/2 weeks post lipo on my abs again and on love handles, bra roll and inner thighs. WOW, there is already a major difference in my body contour in all affected areas particulary my abs. These are real results. I am so happy already and I am still swollen and will not see final results for awhile. I am looking forward to even better results. I needed to share my experience with Dr. Jaime Garza so that anyone who is considering a cosmetic procedure will proceed with caution. The exact date of the procedure could be off by a few days. Sorry but everything I have stated is factual. Also had to choose lipo sculpture instead of liposuction because this site would not allow fro another liposuction review since I've already submitted a great review on my current doctor.
