Hello!
Very excited to find this website. Thank you for sharing your stories and pictures- It has made my wait easier. I am pretty nervous and very excited about the procedure. One of my biggest concerns is my energy level and how I feel when I return to work. I will have two full weeks off and then will work from home the third week. I have a BIG sales presentation 31 days after the procedure. I hope I am back to myself then!

Hello!
I go in tomorrow at 8:30am! I am actually more relaxed than I thought I would be. I think I realize it is too late to change my mind. I have a few more things to take care of today, but for the most part I am ready. I have my Christmas cards ready to go, most of the shopping done, and everything I will need is in tote bags so my husband and/or mom can easily grab things. I do not get to stay over night after my procedure so the house must be organized for my wonderful helpers!
One thing that has really surprised me is my husband! He is actually pretty excited! He told me he loves me just the way I am but wants me to be happy.
I am open to taking a "happy" pill tonight if I start to get nervous. Thanks again to everyone that posts updates here. It is has been so helpful to see your journeys. I was not going to do before and after pictures but I understand how important it was for me to see all of you so I will do the same. I will post before pictures later tonight.

I made it to the flat stage. I vomited several times last night but I feel much better now.Went to see the PS today.and says everything looks good.
My vision is very blurry from the medication.

PO2 . Today is better. I am able to use the restroom and drain the drains on my own. My family has been very supportive. My friend was with me the after surgery and the second day. That was very helpful. I don't think I am standing up as straight as I should be. I am pretty sure one of my pain pump lines fell out today. I see the PS tomorrow.

Hello!
A big thank you to the ladies that suggested the Contour Backmax! I did not order it until Saturday so I arrived after my surgery. I was in the recliner the first two nights and switched to the Backmax last night. It was amazing! I am sure this is TMI but I started to pass gas this morning and did not feel a thing! I did have bad dreams last night- that seems to be normal from what I read about the 3-6 night,
I go back to the PS today.If I have an update i will give one but for now it is pretty uneventful.

Slept great last night - LOVE the Contour Backmax. I had a lot of bad dreams but still felt very rested this morning. I had to go to the PS today to have then adjust the pads from my lipo. I finally looked at my stomach today. I am very happy with the results. I really want to take a picture after the drains are out but maybe tonight I will take one and post it. I got on the scale today and it says I am up 3 lbs from Monday. Part of that could be the pad and binders but I was disappointed to see the higher number. I did have my first BM today LOL so funny that this is an "event" after TT. I was going to have my mom buy something to help me along but I guess I don't need it now.
I have started to back off the pain meds. I am not sure how to do this but I was thinking trying to add several hours between each dose until I am off them by Monday or Tuesday. My plan is to continue them until I have the drains removed and the dr thinks that will be Monday.

I just scheduled the appointment for 9:45 tomorrow to remove my drains! I am down to 10 to 15 cc a day per side. My BB stitches will be removed this Thursday. I am feeling pretty good today. I drove my son to school today because he missed the bus. I don't think I am allowed to drive but I did not have a choice. I am now down 2 lbs from what I weighed before surgery. I think I have been so careful to eat low sodium that I will probably drop a few more lbs.

12/11/12What a great feeling! So glad to have the drains out this morning! I also had my BB stitches removed today too! Down another .5 lb this morning for a total of 3.5 from surgery date. I hope to see the scale continue to go down. I am really watching sodium.

20 dpo and doing good- but something very strange happened this morning. When showering I noticed a tender spot when washing my "private" area. Sorry--- TMI but I am worried. I soon realized I have two swollen lumps under my skin to the left of my rectum. They feel like swollen glands. I tried to find information and anal cancer came up every where. I don't think that I would have two lumps show up overnight if I had rectum cancer. So- I am wondering is it possible that this is just part of the TT and I have swollen glands or nodes? I have never had a hemorrhiod before but I am sure that is not what this is. It is under the skin and not "inside".
Thoughts anyone?

I ended up going to the ER today after speaking with my PS. The doctor at the ER says I have an infection that has settled in the glands around my rectum. He used the word "abscess" and sent me home with rx for antibiotics and a pain killer. When I researched this online it says the only way to treat it is to drain the abscess and take meds. Now I am worried this will continue to grow and need to be drained in a couple of days (Christmas). I hope the doctor is right and all I need is the antibiotics!
He says it is unrelated to TT. He looked at my BB and my incision and said it all looks good.
Please send some positive vibes my way and hope this goes away with antibiotics!

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks already! The time has gone by so fast! I am feeling really good. I can't walk very long but I am trying to do more everyday. I am having sleeping issues- seem to wake up every hour. Went to the PS on Thursday and have been cleared to work out, so I am going to do a light work out this morning. I started scar treatment Thursday and have already noticed a difference! I have a few more days to relax and then January 3 is the beginning of a CRAZY schedule for me. I have all day meetings the the first and second week of January and have a 6 day travel/meeting the last week of January. I hope my energy level continues to improve!

Four months after TT with back lipo, I had to go back for more lipo yesterday. The PS missed a pretty big spot on my back and it looked silly, I went ahead and paid for inner/outer thighs, and inside of my knees. I did not want to do this but even my husband said it had to be revised. So now I spent 8500.00 on the TT and an additional 5k on lipo. UGH. The lipo surgery is so much easier than the TT! I am very sore but it is managable.

Hello! I am pretty pleased with the results of the second procedure so far. I was shocked by the amount of swelling I had the first 10 days. I had so much swelling I thought I had made a big mistake. After day 10 things really started to change and every day I have lost weight. I am down 5.5 lbs from the surgery date. Recovery is very different from the TT! I will add photos soon.

Look so great. Funny How many of us Tt'ers from December are updating. Myself and 5 others since yesterday lol. I think this is the time we see good results. Like your pics our stomachs now have definition. Not swollen plastic looking things.cheers looking awesome

Hi Kat I hope your infection is doing better too. Funny I feel like our results look similar. Your looking good. Im not sleeping well either. I wake up a lot and seem to only need a few hours at night. Is Jan 3 your first day back? Are you still a bit swollen under your BB? I am and it seems like that part is going to take some time. Good jobs on the walking. Im trying too! Its not easy.

Secondly- I'm sorry to hear about your recent set back. I sure hope you get better soon and your antibiotics take care of it. Feel bad for you!! I actually had hermroids (yuck) so when I first when reading I was thinking that's maybe what you had..but as I read on..i learned otherwise. :( Hope you get better soon!!!

Thank you! I am so lucky the abscess was caught early and never really caused any pain! I am still on meds and will have a check up with my primary next week. Things are going well. I updated my pics today and was happy to notice a difference from two weeks ago. It seems very slow and I feel like I don't look any different, but when I look back I can see it.

It sounds like ur abscess is a boil... If you can sit in hot water as hot as you can get it so that you can bring it to a head for it to burst... It's gross but it works.. Good luck ..

Omg! Sadly I was hoping it was just hemerhoids! Sounds crazy! So glad you went! Man this is the last thing you need. Heal fast sister!

Wow! It's good you went in!! Also it was good to hear it wasn't from the TT. Are they very painful? It's "bad" enough having to heal from a big surgery. Take your meds for sure and keep us updated! I hope there is no need to do more. Have a nice holiday!

You look awesome! You shape before TT is very similar to mine. The few people who know what I had done did not think I looked "bad enough" to have it done. I developed my first ever hemroid about one week ago, I bet that's what your feeling, try not to panic and call your doc next week, deep breath, not even sure there are nodes there. I went back to work part time at 10 days, worn out, but doable. Planned on nothing but rest when I got home for several weeks.

Hemerhoids can be internal or external and the lower body swelling and constipation combined could easily bring them on. Any bleeding with bowel movements? Also your period can stir up external hemerhoids( added swelling and pressure. Either way worth having checked out. But I wouldn't doubt all of those above states things might have caused hemerhoids and that once all your swelling is gone it will resolve.

Good to know! I am on my 2nd day of my period. No bleeding with bowel movements. Of all things! UGH I called my PS and he said to go to Urgent Care. OMG How embarrassing! I think my husband is going to go with me. Thank you!
