How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

I had always joked that once I was done having...

I had always joked that once I was done having kids and breastfeeding I wanted to get myself some boobs, but that had sort of been put on the back burner. In the past 5 years my life has taken many big changes, including the deaths of both my parents. Having them pass away in their 50's has changed my outlook on life and made me want to live more in the moment and for myself. Life is too short! I started my own company two years ago and do a lot of training & public speaking. I wear padded bras anytime I'm out in public. I'm tired of that...I wan't my own breasts. I want to feel feminine and sexy in my own skin. This is for me, no one else. My husband is supportive in the "do whatever you want...it's your body" sort of way, but not the kind of guy I really want around the first week as he'll drive me nuts. Planning on going elsewhere for my surgery and staying the first week at a rental to recoup and relax. My first consult appt is scheduled for February 11th and I'm hoping for surgery in the March-May timeframe. Looking forward to getting to know others here.

Flying Out-of-State for Surgery...Good Idea?

So I have the opportunity to fly to California to get my BA from a family friend. He has a good reputation and is a good PA, I don't question his skills at all, my concern is him being so far away. If I do go to him for my surgery, I'll stay a week to make sure everything is fine. Any other ladies fly out of state for surgery and would you do it again that way or stay closer to home?

BA and Girls Week all in One!

I have decided that I want to take a week to recover from my BA in peace without my energetic sons and husband around. So I'm taking a couple girl friends with me to southern California, renting a house near the beach (cheaper than hotel!) and giving myself time to recover from surgery. Plus, both of my friends are Moms and can use the break themselves I do think they will take great care of me, plus one is a nurse :) I'm so looking forward to our girls trip and getting my new boobs while there! Just over a month to go...

Dr. Kolder is very professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. His bedside manner is very good and he knows how to make you feel comfortable. I loved the way he used science and math to determine the best implants for me and my body and I think he was spot-on correct. I would recommend Dr. Kolder to my friends and family if they were to get this procedure done. He owns the practice and surgery center and hand selects his entire staff. Every person in that practice was very good, kind and professional. Great work!
