I have an upcoming nose job in Sac town on December 6th of this week! So completely nervous and excited at the same time. I'm getting this procedure done for the tip mainly- its a bit bulbous and my bridge has a slight bump. So basically i want this surgery to be very natural and conservative. That is why I have chosen Dr.Donald Clutter whom i've found on realself.com reviewer.
Wish me luck!!! xoxo

so its my 10th day post op and i just took the tape off . I cannot BELIEVE how good my nose looks (thank you God and Dr.Clutter)!!!! it was CLOSED RHINOPLASTY so there is absolutely no sign of the nose job. it looks outstanding! If you would like to see it, i will send it to you. Had to take my pics off due to respect for my family.
xoxo guys. please do a ton of research before you decide to take the big step! Make sure the surgeon MAINLY focuses on noses/face.

I found out about Dr.Clutter from this website :D . Did a ton of research the last 3 yrs , had a few consultations with various docs around the bay area/sf and just didn't feel comfortable . Met Dr.Clutter who's an ENT as well , made me feel very confident so I knew it was gonna be him. I absolutely adore this doctor!!!!

Wow I wonder why so much bruising? Does it hurt?? Looks so painful!
rena2013 11 Dec 2012
When I had this much bruising it didn't hurt just uncomfortable as you feel like your face is blowing up and your eyes don't see a clear picture. ;) I was also more swollen on one side than the other. I hope that's the same for this poster.

And forgot to say that I am 1 month post op and still have black under one of my eyes more than the other. I was told it will take a few months to resolve and its due to so much swelling and bruising. So I cover it with make up and n one can tell that I have that black under my eyes but me. I hope to have this gone soon.
SHHHHHRINE123 11 Dec 2012
absolutely accurate!
SHHHHHRINE123 11 Dec 2012
not painful at all girly..just frustrating cuz I look scary with my eye balls all RED. LOL don't be scared! its going away slowly. very slowly.... i bet you won't have the same reaction. i'm just lucky :D
SHHHHHRINE123 11 Dec 2012

I asked my dr about bruising in my consult and he said that sometimes they catch blood vessels and sometimes they don't as they can't really tell where they are so I guess its just luck. the eyes look really sore!

Well my profile is great but the front view is a bit asymetrical and that could be due to uneven swelling. I showed it to my surgeon and he said wait sex weeks. I am seeing him next Friday. He said if need be he can fix things in office under general but not until 8-12 weeks. However things change with me daily. One day I love it next day I find sonething wrong with my nose but seems likeI am the only one who can see those things. But everyone says including my dr that its normal. I still tape my nose at night and wake up swollen a bit. It gets better by mid day. What a journey for someone inpatient like myself.
rena2013 11 Dec 2012
Haha you and me the lucky once. Lol
rena2013 11 Dec 2012
I remembet that too. I even called my doc on a cell phone to ask what's going on. He was surprised to see so much bruising and swelling. I think for me its due to having to take my asthma inhaler two hours before durgery and few hours after. Steroid can do that I was told.
rena2013 11 Dec 2012
You are the first person I have seen that looks as swollen as I was and with nice makeup under and above the eyes. LOL I thought I was the only one that was that swollen. My swelling lasted for a week and bruising for almost 2 weeks. My dr. said he had no idea why I was swollen more than most, must be something we eat or do that makes us swell up this bad. Good luck with your cast removal and don't be shocked when he takes it off as it will not look as great as you expect it to look. I was in a complete shock, had to sit down for a bit than go back and look at myself again. I looked at myself in the mirror all the way home and was wondering who that was on the other side. LOL Keep us posted and good luck!
SHHHHHRINE123 11 Dec 2012
yeah i nearly fainted when i saw what my face looked like. i am a vitamin FIEND and so i think that's why i bruised this much. its just very irritating cuz i wanna be able to see what i really look like (makeup and all) and i can't :( . I think it'll look good, but patience is NOT my virtue.
