I've always had very nice breasts. After having three children and nursing they have become very "deflated". I am really unhappy with the way they look. I recently went in for a consult and was told I needed a lift as well as implants. Could I get an implant and still achieve a large natural breast??

Hi Momma! I was in the same situation as you & went ahead with the BA without the lift. I went to several consults & each PS had a slightly different plan for me. I also posted my question on here for the docs & that was VERY helpful. You might want to do that. If you do ask a question for the docs add pics to get better advice...do front, side, & 3/4 side. Check out my review also for what a BA without a lift looks like. I have to be honest, I've questioned whether I made the right decision since my surgery but am still hopeful. The other thing to do is to get several consults & look at lots & lots of pics of the work done by the doc. Also, ask about the dual plane approach. Good luch sweetie!

Thanks Jojo- I posted a Q&A and a picture and so far the two that have responded recommended the implant first and if I need a lift doing that a later time. Which is good to hear. I've been looking at A LOT of boobies lately! It can be frustrating just because we are all just a little different so our outcomes could look way different. I appreciate your review and pictures. Some days I think just do the lift and implants and then I Change my mind the next. I wish it was more black and white. Are you happy with yours now?

I was told I would need a lift but didn't want the scars the much much longer surgery. so I went with the implant only and i would have to say at this stage, 3 weeks post op im happy I could have achieved higher nipples and more youthful looking breast but this would mean I would have lots of scaring and also the cost was almost double.my breasts looked much worse than yours from what I can see in your photo. I also have in mind that if after time I can have a lift later but I have given implant only a go and will see how it goes

Thanks Gotmyboobs back. I appreciate your comment. I agree with you and the negatives that come with a lift. My doctor told me I could do a lift down the road but I would have to do new implants too. So I would be paying for them twice. Which from a few other people's comments its sounding like that's not the case. How many cc's did you go? I'd love to hear your opinion in a few months about your breast. Thanks again!

I left it to the dr And he went with 400cc.after my op he said i wasn't as bad as he thought and hopefully if I looked after them they will be good I was a 12d before kids and went to a dd/e breasts feeding then went down to an 10A/B before I had breast done I'm currently a 10DD so hopefully they stay around that size and don't change too much if stay the way they are now I will be stoked

This is a tough decision. Glad to see you're getting some feedback from the community. If you're still not feeling confident with a final decision, you may want to take the time to get a second or third consult. Keep us posted on your research progress!

I went to see another doctor (actually found him on here) and he recommend the lift as well. He said basically the same thing as the first doctor. So lift and implant it is!
