Initially I was thrilled to have the neck lift and...

Initially I was thrilled to have the neck lift and laser for my acne-scarred skin. I also opted for botox in the forehead only. As many of you have said, the after-surgery recuperation was absolutely ghastly! The laser part was way too invasive and I endured goopy creams, a hugely swollen raw red face and that atrocious compression stocking on the head. It was wretched.
A week after all of this my eyelids drooped over the top of my eyes. I looked dreadful. I read about it online and it can happen after the botox injection. I saw the surgeon and he dismissed it as never having happened before to any of his patients. I felt like he did not care nor was he concerned about it. One ear hurt so bad when it was touched that I wondered if it would ever be normal, plus it swelled out and is still not like the other ear.
Shortly after, as my skin began to heal, it started breaking out with all sorts of blemishes. There were patches of uncontrolled dryness, streaks of red and discoloration all over my face. There were pimples galore. I felt like a 17 year old. Again I saw the surgeon and once more he set aside my claim that my skin issues were not related to the laser and told me to see a dermatologist! I was humiliated. I called with some questions and was told I'd be called back shortly. Three days later I had to call again. Seems they never "have your chart" when called. As for the neck issue, the really sad part is that I look virtually the same as before the surgery. My before and after pictures are identical. Talk about disappointment.... I certainly expressed my displeasure at the frustrating results. The doctor acted very surprised that the outcome was not as expected. He promised to fix it so I would be satisfied. It has been six months since the procedures were done and there is no change. I still have bad acne scars and a sagging chin. One eyelid continues to have a bit of drooping. To follow up as agreed, a week ago he followed another course of action with a laser inside the neck tissue to shrink the skin. There has been soreness and lots of bruising. I haven' t been out of my house for a week afraid someone would think I'd been strangled. Unfortunately my neck is still sagging. It's amusing to me that I just got a call from the LSL office to see how I was doing. I asked when I would start seeing results. She hum hawed and said "I think a couple of weeks." Tomorrow I get the stitch out and am anxious to see what excuse will be made this time. I was talked into this whole ordeal by a friend who had various procedures done and looks amazing. I am so very, very sorry I spent almost $9000 for absolutely nothing except pain, suffering, aggravation, regret, distress and degradation. The promises the company makes seem so convincing. It truly is a scam. I'm ashamed of myself for falling for their marketing techniques. I thought Debby Boone would be above that kind of deceit
