I am a 28yr old mother of two. They are 7 and 18months. I have been wanting to do this for along time now and i am finally going through with it on march 19th! I still cant even believe i scheduled it. I have never had surgery before in my life! I am having a full tummytuck, breast lift, and lipo of my flanks. I am already a 36D so i dont need any implants. Oh and we are totally done having children.I am 5ft4inch and 147lbs, i am in the process of trying to get down 15lbs before my surgery! Just so you all know i have been watching this sight for a long time and just decided to sign up, i figured what the hell why not! Maybe this will help me not be so afraid of my mommy makover! i havent taken any before pictures yet and i am really up and down about wether i am or not!

I DID IT. I AM 2 days in an in some pain.. i am taking my pain meds every 4 hours and i am not skipping them.. i couldn't imagine not taking them. its very sore and its like a burning sensation in my abdomen. and in my back where the lipo was done is soooo tender and swollen.. my tummy is very swollen as well. i go in tomorrow to get the pain pump removed. i will have these drains in for a while because my ps is very conservative with taking them out to soon. i am ok ith that because i don't want to get a seroma. my breast lift was no big deal. i don't even really feel any pain there.well we will see. i am so nervous to look at my belly!! i hope i like what i see!

I'm so glad you decided to join us! We'll give you all the support we can through this process. I know it's scary, but  soon you'll be on here telling us about how flat your tummy is and how perky your breasts are! How are you trying to lose the weight before surgery?

Drea28 20 Jan 2012
thank you and i am on weight watchers! its a slow process losing it this way but it teaches me how to eat properly!

Hey! I am 27 and the mom of three beautiful babies ages 3, 5, and 6! My surgery is scheduled for Feb 29th and I am sooo nervous too! I hope I dont have a nervous breakdown before it even happens!Lol. I am having a full TT and BA. Thankfully I dont need a breast lift so that is the only plus about my situation. I am 5ft 7in and 152lbs. Maybe we can help eachother get through the process!
Drea28 18 Jan 2012
Yes i would love for us to help each other get through this! It is a big step for us to take. I think i over think this so much because i have kids but woman do this every day! And as long as we have the perfect PS that is board certified we can trust in him to make a beautiful!
c.jenkins21 19 Jan 2012
It is a big step but I think its good that we are doing it while we are younger because one of the biggest regrets of woman who did do it is that they waited so long! So, I was supposed to have a TT and BA but I have decided to just have the TT. My aunt has been very ill from problems from implants and pleaded with me not to do it and so I have decided I can live with my little boobies...thats what push-up bras are for!! But, I cannot live with this saggy belly so I am so excited to have the TT!
Drea28 20 Jan 2012
yes i am also glad we are having it done at our age! i want toenjoy the reults for a long time!! and as far as you not getting implants i think you are making a good choice for yourself, you dont want any crazy risks liike that and you should fix what byou hate the most! im not a huge fan of big boobs, i have had them my whole life almost and i totaly could live without them! lol

Best of luck to you!1 I am jealous of your already ample chest, lol. I am having a BA and TT on March 9th, I just wish it was tomorrow. I go back and forth between anxious and excited and the anticipation is killing me.
Drea28 20 Jan 2012
best of luck to you also! i also go from anxious to extremely nervous to crazy excited all in the mater of seconds! im gonna be a wreck on the day of surgery! keep us posted on your recovery!!
Megan in Indiana 21 Jan 2012
Your baby is about the same age as mine, I am nervous about picking mine up. I am having a nanny come for the first two weeks, so hopefully it won't be a problem. But it is just second nature to pick up your kids, you know?
Drea28 22 Jan 2012
omg... i know iam so worried about that too! My husband is taking the first week off and my mother inlaw is coming over for the first 2 weeks to help me but i am so worried about everything in the house as well like laundry! my husband says he can handle it but i dont think he really knows all that i do on a reagular basis!im sure i am go0ing to be like a roller coaster! ups and downs!i wish i could get rid of my scared feelings!
Megan in Indiana 23 Jan 2012
Yeah, they have NO IDEA what we do,lol. I am worried about that too. And I hate to not be to just do it myself, that is going to be hard to just realize it just has to sit until we feel better. I am trying to get my house in the best possible working order right now so that it can't get too down hill :-)
Megan in Indiana 9 Feb 2012
Some one told me posting the pics was liberating, they were right!! Good for you, it makes it all feel that much more real.

How is WW going? I have been doing WW for years, I love their program :-) I am not as nuts about points+, vs the old way, but I know plenty of people who do. I guess I am just old and set in my ways, lol.

I can't wait for March for both of us!!

Who is doing ur surgery? Had it done in Rochester,ny and cannot sing enough praises abt my surgeon.
Akshia 9 Feb 2012
I just saw who ur surgeon is going to be...ur going to absolutely love ur mommy makeover. He is realistic with what he promises and is careful and precise. He truly an artist with his work and an excellent surgeon. I cannot recommend him highly enough and hope ur experience is as pleasant as mine. Wishing u the best of luck in ur upcoming makeover:)
Drea28 9 Feb 2012
That is great! I am so glad that you said such great things about him! I am soooooo nervous about this! I have never had any kind of surgery and can't believe that I am choosing to have surgery.. But I keep telling myself it will all be worth it! I wish someone could just suck the nervousness right out of me!!
uniquelynoone 9 Feb 2012
You are going to look fabulous.
Firefly1172 9 Feb 2012
I just saw your post and we are having surgery the exact same day! I have a few years (and kid's) on you. I am 43 and have 5 kids from 24 to 11. I am having a TT, BA, and Flank Lipo. I am still deciding on implants. My PS has recommended 400 to 425 cc implants but I am very afraid those will be too large. I am going with silicone. I am jealous that is one thing you don't have to deal with. Inam very nervous about surgery overall i have had horrible luck with surgeries and recovery. I look forward to keeping in touch and recovering with you.
Drea28 11 Feb 2012
wow, this is all so exciting and scary all at the same time! i am very nervous as well! i have never had surgery before, just think we will look so great after this is all said and done.. thats what i keep telling myself so i dont friek out!! good luck to you and we will keep in touch on here!
Firefly1172 13 Feb 2012
I have had two c-sections and have the not so wonderful pouch over my scar. I am hoping that recovery will be easier then the c-sections. I do think that the recovery will be well worth it! I keep reassuring myself that it will be wonderful after everything is done and healed.

I will be watching to see what the ladies post. I may see something that I need to add to my list.

HI ...just looked at your pics real quick and your tummy looks like mine before tt...especially how it shrivels when you suck in! i think your going to have amazing results! dont be afraid of going under ...i sware your laying there one sec then the next your waking up! thats the easy part of the whole process!!  the healing process is very long and very slow but totally worth it! i even had to get revision to achieve what i wanted and i did it! I have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old just make sure you have alot of help first 3 weeks bc you will need it! my 11 yr old helped alot but you seriously need to take it super easy or you WILL mess up your results! like i did! (bb healed off center due to popping stitches walking up stairs too much) but anyway if you have any questions at all dont hesitate to ask! good luck!!!

my surgery date is on march 13... the biggest thing that i am scared about also is going under i guess i just dont know really what to expect... what to buy to get prepared for this... my husband is taking the first week off then my mom will be here the week after... hope ill have alot of help...
Megan in Indiana 8 Mar 2012
You are getting there!! I am way more worried about after than I am of the actual surgery part, although I did have a "what-if" moment last night about not waking up :( I just keep telling myself that is not a possibility and I really try hard not think about it.

Soon this will be behind you and you will be so happy with the new you!
