First, I'd like to say that the cost is what I paid out of pocket. My nose was totally messed up due to a birth defect and then additional trauma so my insurance company paid for most of it. I don't know how much it was. Second, his credentials are infallible: chief resident of his surgical class; graduated everything with honors; studied with the renowned Dr. Gunter; and is a professor, which means he keeps up to date with all the new technology. Third, and perhaps most important: he will LISTEN TO YOU. Because I was going in mostly for reconstructive stuff and not cosmetics, I wanted a VERY conservative change. He thought we could go a little smaller than I wanted. I told him no. Two years later, I think he was right. Even though my nose looks GREAT, I see that we could have gone smaller. But I am still glad he didn't because he respected my opinion. Some plastic surgeons are like uppity hair dressers. They'll do whatever they want with you even though you said otherwise. Not Dr. Trussler. He will respect what you want which is the most important thing. Last, (even though its not really important) Dr. Trussler is the doctor you dream of ladies. Tall, handsome and astonishingly polite. His bedside manner is impeccable. He's the type of guy that, normally, you would be sorry to hear he is happily married, except that you're not because he is so nice you know he deserves it.
