Lipodissolve provider: Not specified
I began my treatments in August of 2006. After the employees of Advanced Lipo Dissolve ( now FIG) of Overland Park Kansas convinced me to dump 4000 dollars into 6 procedures with a money back garauntee. I began my "sessions" with only a two week break in between each one. During this time I was so swollen that I formed new stretch marks on my abbs, and the "no down time" they spoke of was not true. 1-3 days after receiving my shots I was in so much pain I could barely put pants on. With each time getting worse. After speaking with the nurses ( no doctor around)about concerns of diarehha, nodules, and no visible effects of this, they told me that I had to finish all 6 sessions in order to receive my money back. I finally finished in March, and after a final review with my measurements larger than when I began. They have begun the run around of refunding my money. No one will answer my questions and I have been continually been shuffled around from the Overland Park KS office to the St Louis, MO office.
I think no down time means you don't have to take 6 weeks off like with liposuction. You are suppose to swell as this is how the process works, the fat cells swell. The stretch were more than likely already there but showed up again with the new swelling. Have you gained weight? It is very unusual that you would gain inches with this procedure. Remember, you are not a victim. You agreed to try this and no one can convince you to do something unless you let them.
Just an FYI, I had lipoSUCTION, with no down time. I had it on a Thursday, and was at a Superbowl party that Sunday. It really was no big deal. Only took the Friday off after surgery. I went to Lipodissolve here in St. Louis, but it was just as expensive as liposuction, and my results were not going to be immediate like with liposuction. Everyone I talk to says Lipodissolve hurts so bad, and I wasn't in that much pain at all from my procedure. Anyway, every body is different, I just feel bad for all these ladies that had hopeful expectations.
Have you had this procedure done? Are you a medical professional? You are touching the surface of the procedure. You explanation could have been read from a pamplet given out at the clinic. No down time means no down time. I had to miss days from work after procedures-that is down time. I have had many days of down time throughout this year and treatments are still not completed. No, we are not victims! We signed up for this of clear mind and took for granted that what was promised would provided. I expect to get what I pay for, as a consumer and I did not. I should get a refund. End of story.
I began FIG in Sept 2007. I had my last injection first of OCT 2007. I had to go and get a medical release from my doctor because it was making me so sick. The swelling would not go away and nor would the lumps. It still hurts to wear my clothes around my waist. I went to the doctor this past Monday to have test done because I could no longer bear the pain around my lower back. Well, one of the lumps has made it's way to my spine. I have to take pain pills in order to function throughout the day. I have 4 children and a full time job. I have to go and get an MRI and CatScan this week. I am having a really hard time getting Care Credit to refund my money even after I was medically realeased in Oct. They cont to take money out of our checking account. Is there anyone who will stand by me in a civil suit against FIG?

i first started treatments in may 2007 and my last treatment was about 3-4 weeks ago since the closing. i tried so hard to get out of getting these injections after the first treatment but they told me in order to get refund, i had to finish treatments. they never told me how long or how many treatments i had to have. the pain of these injections was unbearable and they made me so sick. i later found out that they doubled my dose when i tried telling them that it wasn't working and my closthes were actually fitting me tighter. i was so sick, i had to miss three days of work and i passed out in the bathroom!!! i still have knots and they tried to tell me i lost 2 in. but how can that be if my clothes fit tight? i feel like they need to not only refund my money but pay for fixing any damages i have to my body. i have dimples where the knots are and discoloring of my skin and i actually weigh more than i did when i first started. that's $4000 for abs and love handles that never went away after more than 6 treatments!!!
I feel all of your pain. I am in the same boat and feel very mislead and cheated. This is an OUTRAGE and someone needs to be held accountable for all of this. Please call me at {edited phone #) or

I cannot believe all these cases I am hearing. My lipodissolve was done on Saturday and I was fine except swelling and itching. I didn't even feel most of the injections go in. I feel back to normal today and it's Tuesday. It sounds like you got taken money wise because most PROFESSIONAL doctors charge a few hundred a treatment not thousands of dollars for this and you get results. Sad, I hope you win.
Paige I was also a patient of FIG. I will definitely stand with you in a civil law suit. I suffer with pain on a daily basis. My stomach is messed up. I feel cheated and I'm so angry. There has to be something that we can do.

I am with you on the civil suit as well..I have received the treatments, and it discolored my skin as well..Not to mention the sharp bee sting feeling I get from time to time...Then for them to go out of business with NO contact information to provide to the clients is crazy.

I will like to join you in a civil suite against FIG. I am also experincing alot of pain in my stomach. I talk to the doctor assistant here in Georgia and got no feed back. At this time I have spoke with Fox 5 news, Care credit, and Cosummer Afairs. I am looking for a attonery to handle my case. The courts sent me a letter to file a claim before FIG bankruptcy court date is set. I also placed a dispute with Care Credit.
I had 2 treatments of lip dissolve in August of 2006. It is July of 2008 and I am now experiencing pain in my lower abdomen where I had the shots. It feels just like I just had the shots again. I noticed I have stretch marks where it hurts and I don't have stretch marks. I don't know what to do or if a Dr. knows how to help me. What did you end up doing?
I had the firt appointment where the lower absomen was injected. I had a lot of pain and swelling. I spoke with the nurse about the problems and she informed me it was working and to come in and a least try the full abdomnal area. I did, oh how I wish I had not. My abdomen is bigger than it was before and it made me sick. I missed 3 days of work. It has been 9 months and it's still looks like I'm nine months pregnant. I reported the problems and they kept wanting me to get more shots I refused. I have never recovered my former size no matter how much I diet or exercise. I have never recovered my former health.
I started lipo dissolve back in June 2006. I have been COMPLETELY disappointed! My mom and I started it together. She has only lost 1/2 inch and has gained a couple lbs. I have lost 0, nadda, zilch, and gained about 10 lbs. We spaced them out so that we were getting them every 6 weeks or so. They said they worked better if you could hold the sessions off. They also sold us a package of 6 sessions and said that after that it would be $99 each time for life, if we wanted to. We went in on our 3rd appt and were told they bumped it to 9 sessions. On our 4th appt they said they bumped it to 12 sessions. We asked why and they said the shots weren't working like people wanted them to and they weren't giving enough (only 2 shots of 5cc's each), and they bumped it up to 40cc's for my mom and last time was 30 cc's for me! That was about 50 or so different "sticks" with the needles. I'm so TIRED of it! It doesn't work and it HURTS BAD. You swell up and turn red, get bruises and knots. It's like I had little aliens in my stomach and they'd move around, it was awful. I was taking darvocet and percocet to ease the pain the first 2 days. You can only take Tylenol, unless you have a script for something stronger. But you CANNOT take advil, aleve, or any prescription anti-inflammatories. We had our shots done in Overland Park, KS. They told us last time that if we didn't see any changes when we came in next (we'll be going in 2 days) then they'd submit their opinion to refund us. Now an opinion is not what I want. My mom and I are sickened by this and we've decided that we're not getting the shots again, regardless of a refund. YES, we have been ripped off! They give you false hope and say it's "slightly uncomfortable"... they say this to get you in. I want you all to know that it DOESN'T WORK and IT'S VERY PAINFUL!!! Just go get lipo suction, it's CHEAPER and almost IMMEDIATE results!!!

I have had the same problems with Lipo Dissolve. I only lost a 3/4 of an inch off my love handles and stomach after 6 long, painful, uncomfortable treatments. However, when I ask for my money back. I couldn't get any response from them. I called left 6-7 messages they would not return my calls.I wanted copies of my measurement charts for my records. They gave me all the charts except my last one which proved I didn't loose any inches. So I went to the Overland Park office . They said they didn't have the charts. I called St.Louis they said they didn' have the charts either. They were making excusing not to give me my last chart. They claimed they didn't know where my charts were located...go figure...a professional place lost my files. Then they told me they don't go by measurements they go by photos ...another lie. When I called the St Louis office, Tanya Hannah told me my chart said I lost 2 inches which was a lie. They altered my last chart that is why they wouldn't give it to me.
I have been fighting to get my money back. I waited my 60 days and still fighting. I would like to talk to you and your Mom. Maybe we can team up and get our money back. Interested!! I am in Overland Park KS. email me.
I had my appt on Saturday. They did measurements and photos. I haven't lost anything, not one centimeter. They submitted my file for a refund. Who know's how long it will take. The girl said they submit refunds all the time, she just has no idea if anyone has ever gotten a refund. She told my mom that once her "nodules" go away then that would surely effect her measurements. That's not true at all. I had huge knots in my stomach, they go away but I think your fat just shifts to fill it up. Those shots have got to change your body (in the area that you were getting them) and I'm not saying for the good either. I look so gross right now. They also changed the way the take your pictures. You have to wear disposable panties over yours and under the shorts. They take your pictures with the shorts on and then you have to take the shorts off so there are no discrepencies... not sure how they help prevent that. Photoshop can do that! If my mom and I don't get our refunds then I will be contacting Fox 4 also. I think it would be best if we could get a few people to call the same day or within a couple days of each other. I am also thinking about putting up a website and getting information from unhappy customers. I will only do that if they don't give my mom and I a refund. For it being so painful, you would think they would be more compassionate towards you when you are crying because it hurts so hard!
I also have had 5-6 treatments in Las Vegas. A Dr. told me they had to change their name from Lipo Dissolve to Fig because they were being sued. It has been 5 months since I started my treatments and I have gained 5lbs. They told me it is not to lose weight but come on. If you are melting fat and it is leaving your body then you are losing weight!! I have many nodules, lumpy thighs and can't tell if it has helped a bit. My friends and husband are telling me it's not!!

I would just like to say that your post is a bit misinformative. I have gained 7 lbs and am very active and don't eat junk all the time - the only change I made in my lifestyle was lipodissolve and yet I gained 7 lbs instead of getting the help for those couple spots that I needed help with. That is how LD is advertised. It isn't advertised that you have to go in and diet and exercise to lose the inches. I wasn't overweight to begin with, I just had a couple spots to deal with that exercise and diet had not taken care of - LD put 7 lbs on me when I had kept myself at my goal weight for over 6 yrs!!!!
Most of these people who have gained weight didn't make any changes in their lifestyle except for doing LD. LD is supposed to dissolve fat - you said it isn't, but that is precisely what they advertise. You're saying that people that haven't had results are pigging out on food on not exercising, but that's not the case and I think that your post is extremely offensive to those of us who have had no results and didn't change our lifestyle.
People that have actual weight to lose shouldn't do LD but should just consult with their doctor to exercise and diet. You can do "body management" without paying several thousand dollars. LD does ABSOLUTELY nothing for most people. That is the contention of most of these posts. Every now and then someone has results and good for those elite few. LD is supposed to be a no down-time, easy way to get rid of trouble spots with only slight discomfort and results in 2 treatements - but the majority of people have adverse reactions, serious pain, and/or weight gain. The contention is that LD uses false advertising to get clients.
What if you were to have your house roofed, and paid the roofer up front only to notice more holes in it during a thunderstorm? You would expect your money back, right? Only to have him say, I'll stop by and refund your money tomorrow, this goies on for 60 or more days, what do you do? You sue him. Why it's a win/ win situation. Same thing applies here. And by the way I'm 5'8 185 with 12% body fay. It didn't work for me. I work out 5 days a week for 2 hours a visit. I'm from MO and I'm from being fat & Lazy!!!!!
I dont know if you are aware of this, but the average HEALTHY woman is supposed to be between 10-12% for essential fat, 14-20% if you are an athlete, 21-24% if you are high into fitness training, 25-31% is an acceptable range for physically inactive people, and you are considered obese if you are 32% or higher body fat... Looks to me that you are unhappy with your muscle mass. If you are unhappy with a mere 12% body fat then you might want to do more cardio but keep in mind that you are on the lower end of the spectrum for body fat. I and others would be absolutely thrilled to be at 12%. I dont know why you are complaining. You might want to research your facts before getting all bent out of shape over nothing. It sounds to me an like Jennifer works at a LD center. I dont know how she would know about the frequency or not of refunds if she didn't and if her and all her friends were happy. PLus she made the comment about people whoe "live here in MO"..thought you were in Vegas. Frankly our whole first paragraph sounds like and excuse form the company complete with experienced examples. If you had so much like then how do you know all these "fat slobs" from st. louis that this doesnt work for? I hope you are living well off the money you have made at LD cause it doesnt spend well in hell
I agree, Jennifer sounds like she works at an LD center. She is talking about people's results in Las Vegas, yet she got her treatments in St Louis...how is she an "expert" at knowing results in LV? And Annie you got it right about she shouldn't know about the refund process if she and all her friends are happy.
I apolotize for not posting under my user name to Jennifer's first post - I accidentally posted under Guest. But anyone can go on RealSelf forums and see my posts regarding my experiences with LD and my experience is very much not a Win/Win.
Jennifer, you ask how LD put 7 lbs on me. I've been trying to figure that out since LD staff told me at my inital consultation that it would only put 2-3 lbs most on me due to swelling. So if LD can put 2-3 lbs on a person, then if it doesn't do what is advertised doesn't it stand to reason that it can easily put 7 lbs on an active, healthy person? I know people that have gained upwards of 10 lbs. Like I said in my post, I am active and fit. At 5'4 I weighed 122. I had a few minor trouble areas that were stubborn and wouldn't come off. At my refund consultation I weighed 129 with absolutely no change in lifestyle other than LD. So to answer your question how can LD put 7 lbs on me, I ask you IF LD IS THE ONLY LIFESTYLE CHANGE I MADE AFTER 6 YRS OF NO WEIGHT GAIN, WOULDN'T IT STAND TO REASON THAT LD PUT THE 7 LBS ON ME???
I've suffered greatly from LD. I had several days down time each treatment, extreme swelling and pain, minor and random allergic reactions that couldn't be tied to LD until they put double the medicine in me and I had a severe allergic reaction that landed me in the ER. I spent a lot of money battling out those minor allergic reactions and more money in the ER. Care Credit is charing me interest while LD is taking 90 full business days to refund my money (when they can't even get my records from KC to St Louis and both Tonya and Jamie Baker at St Louis refuse to return phone calls until you threaten the BBB, then Tonya claims she has rec'd no messages from you)...who is going to refund me the interest, the hospital bill, the medication, and my suffering???

So that Jennifer -and all others who might be skeptical of my posts- can fully understand that I live an active lifestyle: I am 33 yrs old and have had two kids - yet I maintained a weight of 122 at 5'4 for 6 yrs which is a great weight to be for having two kids. I am a size 4-6, depending on what brand I wear. I am an active fencer, which if anyone knows anything about fencing they realize you have to be in a little bit of shape to do that. I also do cardio 2-3 times a week outside of fencing.
When I say that LD is responsible for my weight gain, I'm not messing around. There is nothing else that could have been responsible. Jennifer, you said in your post that if I maintained a proper diet and exercise, this would most definitely work for me. Obviously you are just as wrong as LD.
Maybe the issue for you isnt that you need to lose fat. Maybe you just need a tummy tuck. Many women believe that they are fat after they have kids and believe no matter what they do it wont come off. If this is the case, chances are that its not fat. Chances are that its just the abdominal wall(and skin) is stretched to the point that it just appears as fat. This would explain why you are unable to get rid of it with normal diet and exercise and probably why the LD didnt work for you. I would advise you to go into a plastic surgeon to have a consultation about whether or not you are a suitable recipient of a tummy tuck because that would fix your "flat tire" problem. I hope this is of some assistance.
I had this procedure done over one month ago and I am very worried. I had all the side effects immediately after the procedure the above stories mentioned and also including a constant burning on my skin in the lower abdominal area which has not gone away. It is very sore and tender and I also have lots of knots, or cysts under the skin which cause the most sensitivity to the area when touched. I can also see some of the lumps when I stretch or do ab exercises. I have allot of concern as to how long they last for. I can't seem to find any information about them except they are supposed to go away, not to comforting… Everything I have read says the sunburn feeling goes away after a couple weeks? The doctors said I was going to have a great reaction because I was so swollen for the first two weeks. I only have the knots and seem to still be larger in that area then before the shots. The swelling is still apparent and I exercise four days a week with an hour of cardio during those times. I am not really gaining weight but I haven't lost inches or lbs either. I only had my lower abs done and do not plan on getting any other areas done. I weigh 124lbs and I'm 5'5". Please can someone give me any advice or suggestions as to what I should do?
I actually have an appointment today (Atlanta, Ga.) I am skepticle now because of the feed back that I have read. I have a problem with my waist area (kids/c-section). Is it really worth the money? Honestly I need feed back from someone in Georgia if you are out there.
Yep- it's me efjenkins. I wrote my original "The REAL Pain with Lip Dissolve. I wrote that in April, it is now June, and I have yet to receive my refund from Lipo Dissolve (now FIG). I have been continullly lied to by Tanya Hanna & Jamie Baker. And the bad thing is I was one of the lucky ones who was APPROVED for a refund. I have since reported them to the Better Business Bureau of Kansas City, and wrote to the Attorney General of Missouri. Now it's just a waiting game, they have my money and basically the ball is in their court. Yes this was a choice I made, but I have been lied to since the beginning. So for any of you who are at the point that I am good luck, and let me know how you get your money back.
I had my first treatment on Friday and I have barely been in any pain. I was a little sore the first night, but that's it. It seems like a lot of the complaints are coming out of the KC area. And most of the blogs I read people are saying they dont' know what the knots are and if they will go away. All of this was clearly explained to me at my consultation and I was told it doesn't work for all people. Maybe it's a problem with the lipodissolve office considering not all offices use the same ingredients in their injections and not explaining everything clearly or not enough research done by people and having too high expectations.

I requested my refund feb 5th 2007 and was told I was approved for my full refund ($10,000)the middle of march and june 1st,2007 I was still getting the run around. I turned them into the bbb and to the attorney generals office that day...I called st.louis on tuesday june 5th and they said my money was transfered back into my account
June 4th at 11:06 a.m.....less than 24 working hours......I called and told the OP office I turned them in because I didnt know what else to do and the lady I spoke with told me she would have done the same thing and she was sorry for everything I had gone through. 5 months later not the 60 days I was originally told. OP no longer has accounting in there office all refunds are handled out of st.louis now is what I was told. My account was in accounting for 11 weeks and no one could tell me where my file was. Everytime I asked if they could call accounting or give me the number I was told they dont even know the names of anyone in accounting and wouldnt know who to call to ask. The only contact they had was Jamie Baker and she wouldn't even return there e-mails or calls. One of the few times I actuall got to talk to Tanya hanna she told me to quit callin and harrassing them and they would call me and left me know when my money was tranfered back into my account.
I called them on a dialy basis and it did nothing to speed along the process...I left messages threatening to turn them in....nothing worked until I finally turned them in.
Good luck and hopefully you will see your money soon.

I had LD done in Atlanta. I only had one treatment. I had it done on April 4, 2007. Just this week I noticed I did not have any pain or nodules left. I had it done on my arms. I thought that it would be more noticeable on the arms since it is a smaller muscle. I dont really see a difference. The company went out of business before I could get my second treatment. Fortunatly I had charged it to my CC and I was able to dispute it. I work out 3-4 times a week. Weigh 120 at 5 feet, two inches. I have been the same weight for 10 years. Initially I thought I may have gained weight from it, but I got back to my normal weight. I wonder if it would have worked if I had gotten more than one treatment. Anyone out there get it done on their arms?
Follow up on my refund process: I want to give a bit of information that might be helpful to those in the Refund process. It seems that Advanced Lipo Dissolved (now Fig.) is trying to pull the old "bait and switch" with refunds. I have posted previously that Tonya at LD is trying to tell me that it is 90 business days for a refund. But I pulled my records and this is not what I signed. The document I have signed by myself and a LD rep entitled "Guaranteed Results Program" states that "Refunds can take up to 60 days to process." This doesn't say "90 business days" nor does it say "60 business days". LD should be held accountable for the documents that they sign and live up to their part of the guaranteed refund program. I just emailed Fig. with this information as my official refund request is dated 3-30-07 - which means Fig. is overdue on my refund check.
If you are suddenly being told 90 business days for your refund when you have previously been told differently (even if it was at your initial sign up that you were told 60 days) PULL YOUR PAPERWORK and find out what they promised you. If you are due your refund fight for it. Don't let Fig. run over you. As suggested above, if results are not obtained in the refund process as promised, contact the Better Business Bureau and any others (Attorney General's office, lawyers, etc) to get the promised refund.
We can't continue let Fig. get away with the perpetual lies and misrepresentations. Tell everyone you know about your Fig. experience.
It seems that the only two people that are allowed by Lipo Dissolve (FIG), Jamie Baker & Tanya Hanna have been trained to hold on to our money as long as possible, and to LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE. After speaking with Tanya for the hundreth time yesterday I explained that I was looking at my contract and it said 60 days to refund. Her plain & simple answer for that was, " I don't care what you signed it will not speed up our process." And that if I made anymore complaints to the BBB or the Attorney General it would continue to delay my refund. I have been told twice in 1 week that the check is on the way. Each time them saying that it will be in the next business days mail. Keep in mind that I had to call every 15 minutes until one of them would get on the phone and answer my questions with more lies. And all I can say is that pure & simple harrasment will eventually get them to talk to you. They know they have our money and we want it & unless we're ready to dump more money into a law suit they will continue to take advantage of their customers.
I agree with you evelyn....I went through all the same things you did.....I submitted feb 5th and just recieved my money last week on the 5th of june....4 months later not 60 days....I would just turn them into the bbb now...why wait you have waited this long if you get your money before you can e-mail the bbb and let them know it has been resolved thats what I had to do you have nothing to lose...I waited 2 months too long to turn them into the bbb....once I turned them in my money was tranfered back into my care credit account within 24 hours....now I have to wait 30 days for care credit to mail my check.

can someone tell me how to get our money back?
I live in Iowa & just had my 4th LD treatment. I have definately seen results. The first 24 hrs. seem to be the worst for me after each treatment but then I'm fine & the swelling goes down a little each day. I definately think the swelling, bruising, pain, etc. is different for everyone. I am having this done on my abdomen. It sounds like some places know what their doing & some places don't. I don't see any possible way to gain weight while getting the LD treatments though. I was told that when having this done that people should try to maintain a healthy diet & excercise regularly. The people who have negative comments are scaring everyone else, when in reality they just went to the wrong place to get it done. I was very lucky to know the people who run the place I am having mine done at, they used to attend my church. Everyone should thoroughly check into it before they get it done, but don't be discouraged, if you find people who know what they're doing, you will get results.

I just had this done on my stomach and love handles this past saturday. Let me start by saying that I agree with many of you regarding the "no down time". I have a high tolerance to pain so I expected to be able to do my normal activities (minus hard work-outs). I have to say that I was very sore and still am sore today (3 days later). I also have a ton of bruising. Summer was probably not the smartest time to get this done!! I had a lot of swellng but it seems to be going down today. The place that I went to had the injections done by a doctor. It also had no guarantees and no package prices. The doctor said that there is no way to know up front as to how many times a person will need to be injected. I am very worried now as to what is going to happen after reading all of this. I am 41 with two kids and 5'7" size 4 but had a little fat that I couldn't get off of my belly. The only comfort I have is that I did not go to Fig to get it done as it does seem like everyone who is having a problem went there to have the procedure done. I am an attorney and while I am not giving you legal advice, if you can consult an attorney and have him/her write a letter, you probably get a better response. I am keeping my fingers crossed for both you guys and for myself.
There has got to be a way that those of us with bad exeperiences and that are trying to get refunds within the 60 days we signed (and Fig reps signed) can band together and let the press know that Tonya Hannah and Jamie Baker continuously lie about refunds. Add Heather to the "bad list" at Fig headquarters as well. My friend who is trying to get a refund was told flat out that she was a liar when she told Heather that her Guaranteed Results Program form said 60 days - and her and I signed up at the same time for LD so I know what she signed is the same as what I signed. In addition, Heather told my friend that Tonya said that my friend cursed at her on voice mail.
They are really starting to play dirty. It's time we did, too.
I went to the US News and had my story told there. It is in the June 11th issue. That worked for me. But I am going to continue to fight against Fig...not because I have a lot of time to do so, not because it's fun for me, but because they are a horrible corporation that is feeding lies to the public and I truly believe that their misdeeds need to be brought to the public eye as much as possible.

I am going through the same thing with LD. I had so inches lost and they will not refund my money. I also just learned that I am 5 weeks pregant and can not have any more treatments. LD wants me to do 3 more before they will reevaluate me. I already went through the 6 treatments (the plan) and had NO results at all. This company is horrible and I am writing the attorney general and BBB. I would recommend going elsewhwere. NOT WORTH the trouble or the money! If anyone has gotten a lawyer I would like to know, I am looking for a quick resolution to this!
This company lies lies lies! I cannot tell you what I have been through. I started in Feb. of '06 and not one inch has come off. In fact, more weight put on from this so called painful medicine that is entering my body! Take some time off, etc. it was told to me. Yeah right...nothing still! Wanting a consultation, I finally got one and was told to lose weight before a refund. Not gonna do it. This was again lies to prolong the refund processing. Megan, Jamie Baker, everyone there does not return calls. The company is in trouble! Mr. CEO, your fig is going down the tubes. I only wish everyone who sits in that waiting room knew what they were going to go through. I can't tell you how many say that it is not working.

The BBB doesn't lie and this many complaints for a relativly new company is outrageous. Sorry fig there will be no return visits from this guy. Hope you clean your act up!
Well WHY are there 62 complaints in the first place, when this is a brand NEW company?? And many customers do not go to the BBB, so there are more I would imagine than the 62 who take the time and actions to report this company. Is it www.fig.com or is that different? I saw their commercial on tv today and almost called them as the lady on tv looked happy.
After reading these customers stories, I am now considering other options in addition to exercise. I saw the you tube humorous video called do it your self lipo, it is gross, but funny.

We are sorry to report that, due to economic conditions beyond our control, fig. ceased operations on December 7, 2007. The company closed the doors of 17 of its 18 centers around the country. The only center that will remain open is the Costa Mesa, CA facility, which is an independently owned and operated center.
The company is currently consulting with counsel and will likely seek legal relief under the bankruptcy code to ensure it preserves all options including the ability to reorganize and continue operations.

yes! i also was a great canidate for the treatments at FIG and i always exercise and have always watched what i eat,after i started the treatments i swole up real bad i called them and they up my Dosage. I called them again and told them how i stung & had shocking sensations in my side,and why was i stilled being billed & i contacted you several weeks ago,OK!someone will be in touch with you soon.NO ONE EVER CALLED! yes i was told that I was a great canidate for the treatment.After (Fig) explain to me that I was told of the money back garauntee I started my tratment on that same day.I have never been in so much pain in my life.I was swollen,and so much pain that just could not stand it. The pain got worst after each session,but the nurse told me that it was normal.Yes, they told me that I had to complete the 6 session in order to receive my money back.After I completed the treatment and I went back for my final reveiew i told them that I was still swollen and I am still in pain and I wanted my money back. I had Lipodissolve last May at a ob/gyn's office, by the time I got home from my first treatment I looked eight months pregnant. I gained inches everywhere I got the injections. I dieted and walked a lot after the injections and I could not lose the extra inches (3 1/2 in.upper stomach, and 3 inches lower stomach)I was very upset that I was much bigger that when I started. I went to a plastic surgeon in St. Louis, Dr. {edited}, for a consult and she said she gets a lot of patients do to lipodissolve. I decided on a tummy tuck with lipo on thighs, waist and flanks. It has been four weeks and I am very happy with the results already I have already went from a tight size 10 to a comfortable 8 and I am still swelled. The first two weeks was not easy but I hurt for 4 months after Lipodissolve with terrible results. So I would definately recommend my PS and the procedure
