Three Procedures ...Wonderful Experience! - Powell, OH

I founmy bred Dr. Grawe through a friend and have been beyond pleased with her and her staff at Roxy Plastic Surgery. I had my first breast implant surgery in 1996. Two kids and 16 years later, they needed to be replaced. I went to a highly recommended doctor in Columbus for my surgery. I was devastated with the results. My implants were the wrong size, placed very high on my chest and I was left with sagging skin. It was horrible. I am an educated woman and married to a surgeon, so I waited nine months for the implants to 'drop and fill in'. It never happened. I was not keen on another surgery as this last one had kicked my butt. I could not move my arms, get off the couch, etc. for almost 10 days, even though I was told it was an 'easy' surgery and I would be 'up and running' after 3 days. So, I put my breasts out of my mind and carried on with life. I went to Dr. Grawe for her opinion on the bags under my eyes and a heavy upper eye lid. People on both sides of my family have had this corrected, so I wanted to see what my options were. I had just turned 40 and was curious. She answered all of my questions and explained what she could do to help me. I ended up opting for a lower bleph and a brow lift. On a whim I asked her to look at asts. She immediately put me at ease, saying she could fix my problem! After lots of consideration I booked my surgeries and never looked back. Dr. Grawe took excellent care of me before, during and after surgery. The OR staff told me they would let her do anything to them and that I was in good hands. She called my husband a few hours after I got home to check on me and told him to call her anytime....
My surgeries went very well. I was so concerned with seeing my eyes afterwards that I hopped off the couch without any help. My husband was in awe. He asked me to raise my arms, etc....I had no real pain from my breast revision. I checked those out right away and loved my new breasts instantly. Even though Dr. Grawe put in 200cc more, I have actually gone down a cup size because my other implants were so high and wide! YAY! My brow lift showed instant results. I finally had a 'crease' in which to apply my eye shadow and looked more 'awake'. The lower bleph took me a bit by surprise, I was not ready for all of the bruising and swelling! I visited Dr. Gawe's office several times with a list of questions. Each visit I was greeted with smiles and never felt rushed or dumb for asking so many questions. She put my mind at ease each time. I am now 4.5 weeks post op and am very happy with my results. I still have a little swelling and the scars are visible....mostly just to me! People tell me my eyes look so "open" and pretty. I know that at 3 months I will look even better and that at the year mark I should be completely healed, scars and all. Just need to be patient!
Dr. Grawe never promised me 'perfection', she did tell me that she was confident she could help me and get the results I was looking for. She is easy to talk to and 'gets' being a woman and wanting to fix our problem spots. I encourage anyone who is considering any type of procedure to schedule a visit with her before making your final decision, you will not be disappointed!
