How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

1 year post-op! first 8-9 months were hard due to necrosis but I survived! I have lost 29 lbs since Dec 4th (8.5" from waist) and looking forward to losing 50 more! I go to the gym 3x a week and do cardio at home 3-4x a week. just completed 2 5ks in 7 days... I would never of had the confidence to take that first step into a gym without the surgery!

Way past 2 months postop and still haven't been cleared for exercise, not even treadmill due to a complication on my incision and a seroma on upper right ab.

38 year old mother of two boys, ages 18 and 16. I have wanted to get this done for a while now (about 10 years). I would love to blame the condition of my tummy on my pregnancies with my boys but I was pretty lucky and had little to no stretch marks (depending on the light)and bounced back pretty fast after giving birth.
However the death of my Mother was a little harder on me and I gained a lot of weight and developed the lovely "apron" during that time. I have since gained and then lost weight several times and am still not at my goal weight but happened to have the money and time for this surgery now.
I had a few set backs since surgery but think I am finally on the mend.
