It's My Turn TT AND A BA - Portland, OR

I'm a mom of 3 and the wife of a injured soldier. I worked took care of our kids and him while he was recovering. 5 years later I was a mommy of 3 weighing164lbs and was 5'2". I looked in the mirror and I did not recognize the person looking back at me. Even though my husband is amazing and always tells me I'm beautiful I feel so ugly and fat. No matter how much I exercise the front tire will not go away. I realized my kids destroyed my body ( prepregnancy I was 5'2" and 110lbs) . So I decided to do a mommy makeover. I did a lot of research and narrowed it to 2 doctors. I chose Dr Waldorf and the Waldorf Center. I was planning on going with Dr Bohley, but after meeting Dr Waldorf, and her staff I knew I wanted to go with Dr Waldorf. She is a very sweet lady and very caring and her staff is amazing and the facilities are AMAZING!!! She was less then Dr Bohley as well. I know there are mixed reviews about her so I was hesitant but after meeting her and the staff those negative comments are all LIES!!! There was one comment that said that the staff pressures you and tries to over sell you. After going to her I realized she and her staff do no such thing, if anything I felt pressured at Dr Bohleys office. They kept telling me his surgery dates fill up quickly so I better put a down payment down.... Etc. well I am glad for him that he is so popular and so busy but I would rather go with a doctor and a staff that does not pressure you to put down a down payment that day of consult if "you want your surgery next month, or you will have to wait"..etc. blah blah blah. I would rather have a doctor that doesn't set time and schedule like I am cattle and that takes the time to talk to me and actually care about me. Another unique thing about Dr Waldorf's office is after the surgery they don't kick you out the door and send you home that day. She genuinely cares so you stay at the facilities overnight so the nurses and the doctor can monitor you and make sure you are okay ( they have a surgical center and the other side of the building has rooms, etc ) . It also actually costs less then what Dr Bohley's quote was, and she didn't try to upsell me with liposuction, or breast lift like Dr Bohleys office did. She is honest and told me that in her opinion I would not need extra liposuction nor a breast lift. So I am thoroughly happy with my decision. I don't have to wait until June either for my surgery. She made arrangements so I could have my surgery on May 10th ( hind sight being 20 20 my theory might not work... My theory is if I have the surgery before the initial shock of deciding to do it hits it will be all over before I can think about it :0D) don't get me wrong I am super excited I even quit smoking for this and I have been smoking for 20 years ( started when I was 16). However, I have a HUGE AVERSION TO PAIN!!!! So when I asked about the pain part she suggested pain pumps as well as pain killers and the antibiotics. I am also allergic to penicillin so she made sure she prescribes me an antibiotic with no penicillin. She even made arrangements for me to do my pre op on Monday. They are amazing there from Dr Waldorf to the receptionist. If you are looking to have work done check out waldorfcenter dot com. I will post before pictures tomorrow.
