I had my lower lids done 9 days ago by Dr. Will at Burt & Will Plastic Surgery in Plainfield, IL. Every time I looked in the mirror, all I saw were huge under eye bags. They run in the family. They didn't get bad until around the time I turned 40. I will be getting married in July and couldn't bear the thought of staring at my bags in my wedding pictures. I am AMAZED at what a difference it has made, and I'm not even completely healed. Now when I look in the mirror, I can't help but smile. I see no bags, no big purple bags. The procedure was quick and painless as well!

Dr. Will is an amazing woman and doctor. She genuinely cares and spends time with her patients, answers any and all questions and is very reassuring. She even called me at home later on the same night to see how I was doing! I would definitely use her again!

There is 4 way i know that so far that work pretty well to remove eye bags and i quite like the 4th 1 that work amazingly check them out 1. Go potato: Slice a raw potato (after refrigerating for a couple of minutes) into two and circle the closed eyes gently with those halves. Place it on your eyes so that it also covers the puffed ares under your eyes and leave it like that for 15-20 minutes. You'll notice a tremendous change in those bags as they'll be diminished in size. 2. Milky way: If you have extremely puffed up eyes this is the regular regime that you will have to follow. Dip cotton pads in chilled milk and place on your eyelids and relax for 20-30 minutes. This well help your eyes in water retention and it would also cool them off . 3. Oily help: Take chilled water in a bowl and add a few drops of vitamin E oil to it, now mix the two well. Dip cotton pads in this mixture and place on the eyes for 20 minutes, this well help in reducing the swelling around the eyes. 4. check out this video of the magical serum that remove eye bag instantly like magic personally, I have tried this wonderful product that has been helping me look younger. people thought I went for surgery to look younger and I told them no they were quite surprise haha video of how it work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us97EHZwe_E you can get them from here: http://tinyurl.com/nomoreeyebag1

Wow you are looking great for only a couple weeks out!  Don't worry if you see some swelling and small bags over the next few months, those will go away.  How is everything going?

Thank you so much! I do notice a little on and off swelling and darkness. It's good to know it will go away. I still have a little bruise under my left eye but I am doing and feeling great! Thank you!!

i'm 49 and like you and dealing with hereditary bags!! I hate them. Can you tell me how long your surgery was and if you had to take any time off. Because of job circumstances I don't live with my family during the week. Is this something I could get done and on purpose don't go home for two weeks and then my husband wouldn't find out?? I know I know my bad!!!! He would flip if he knew but I have a little secret stash and want this done big-time

Yes! It took 2 weeks or a little over to heal. I had a small bruise left over.

Was the incision on the inside (transconjuctival) or outside? You look great even post op!

She lasered the inside to pull the bags out and cut the extra skin off the outside.

Looking good, sugarmonkey! Like you, I'm in my early 40's (will be 42 at the end of Feb) and am eager to do both upper and lower, but esp the bags in my lower eyes. You do, indeed, look absolutely GREAT -- only you can see the slight bruise, b/c it doesn't show at all. You give me hope and inspiration! :-)

Thank you! The bruise that's left is more noticeable in person - even I can't see it in the picture. If you live I IL, I strongly suggest Dr. Will. She's wonderful and the incisions under my eyelids are so much better than some I've seen on here. She got close enough to the lash line. Best of luck to you!

Thank you Megan! I am so thrilled with the outcome! I'm getting married in July, and I know I would just dread seeing bags in all of my wedding photos.

I just saw dr. Will today and thinking about proceeding with lower eye bag removal. Did you do the surgery in office? I'm scared of being awake. How long before you were completely healed?
